Nice cottage of 90m² with loft in quiet surroundings, close to the fjord and a beautiful common area with a jetty in the summer months. There is no view of the water from the house. Everything is included in the price, electricity, water, towels, bed linen, tea towels, and basic foods such as oil, sugar and spices. The wood-burning stove is the main source of heating, there is electric heating in the bathroom, a little underfloor heating which is turned on when the electricity is cheap. The garden is completely undisturbed with room for games, sports and play.

The house has 4 bedrooms with space for 8, as well as a lovely annex with space for 4. The house is located in a scenic area with only a 2-minute walk to the beach and jetty. During the season, Orø offers a number of cafes and restaurants, a cozy mini zoo, playground and child-friendly beach. The cottage is located on the edge of a small peaceful forest with birds and deer. Large lawn, surrounded by trees. Good for playing and playing ball. There is a sun terrace with beautiful sun loungers and a covered terrace that provides space for cozy activities. From the house, it is 5 minutes to the water on foot to your own beach and 5 minutes by car to Orø's best and child-friendly beach.

We've got sheep, lots of chickens, and mischievous cats, and from March, little lambs will be out in the field. Our summerhouse is situated on a small island, Oroe, in Isefjord. It sits on a bluff, almost at the end of a gravel road, with direct access to the fjord from the house. We provide Danish traditional summer house-hygge in natural surroundings with a twist of modern facilities. The house is our private home, open for guests only 10-12 times a year ( the original idea behind AirBnB) In general, we attempt to be as sustainable as possible i.e we always try to repair rather than to replace.

The house is decorated in modern beach house style – ”simple living” with a great amount of charm and a personal touch! The House is located on a 3.600 square meters plot, where the 2.000 square meters are beach and sea. The beach is private (though the public has access). But since it is private and there is no big parking lot you'll mostly have the beach to yourself!
