Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Exception, cottage in rural setting

Welcome to our little cottage that we call Undantaget! The accommodation is located in the beautiful Småland village of Älö, 15 minutes from Vimmerby, ALV. Nearby are nice swimming areas. Undantaget is located on the edge of our plot, one side to a small garden with patio and the other side to an idyllic Småland cow pasture. The cottage is from the turn of the century and carefully renovated. Old windows, doors and floors are preserved. We who rent out Undantaget are called Elsa & Andreas, our two children and some Linderöd pigs also live here.

Enjoy your stay on a small farm near Söderköping

Stay overnight in your own cottage at our small farm, Solsätter farm 8 min outside Söderköping along E22. Here we have goats, chickens, rabbits and cats. If you're lucky, you can get a freshly-laid egg for breakfast. There are two single beds on the lower floor, 2-3 beds in the cozy loft. The stairs up to the loft are steep, not recommended for children under the age of 12. Close to nice swimming lake with swimming jetty, distance 5 km. The accommodation is suitable if you are visiting Kolmården, Vimmerby or want to visit Söderköping's surroundings.

Relax in this unique and quiet accommodation. Just a 10-minute drive from the city center. The house is about 65 sqm and newly built but with a genuinely rural style. Here you will find a fully-equipped kitchen with most of what you need. A small but smart bathroom with toilet and shower. Laundry room with dryer. Spacious bedroom with double bed as well as a sofa bed in the TV room. Here you live with the forest close by and two nature reserves with several hiking trails and bird lakes nearby. Occasional nights on request during the summer.

In the house, there are all the amenities of our time but with saved details from the past. Hiking trails and swimming lake are within walking distance. Tiveden's attractions are within walking distance and can be reached by bicycle or car. Bed linens, towels and final cleaning are included. Regrettably, we cannot accommodate pets, as many of our guests are allergic to fur.

Det är en stuga på landet med lugnt läge ca 10 min från E4:an söder om Mantorp. Huset är på ca 50m2. Ett sovrum med dubbelsäng, vardagsrum med bäddsoffa och öppen spis. Vardagsrummet är öppet upp till nock. Över sovrummet finns ett loft med två madrasser som kan användas som extrabäddar. Köket är fullt utrustat samt med diskmaskin. På tomten finns också en friggebod med en våningssäng. Stor lummig trädgård med uteplats och grill. Priset gäller för 4 bäddar. Extra sovplats 150sek/bädd.

Att få bli ett med naturen i en magisk omgivning är något speciellt. Här kan ni slappna av och bara njuta! Till byggnaden hör även en terrass med bord & stolar. Byggnad uppfördes 2023 där byggmaterial är närproducerat, möbler & elektronik är återbrukade för att få ett så litet klimatavtryck som möjligt.
