┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ ◆ Limited to one group per day/private rental - Experience a rejuvenating stay in a long-established inn and storehouse ◆ ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ ■ Location, history, features ■ In the port town of "Mitsuhama" in Matsuyama/Dogo, a 105-year-old long-established restaurant inn (formerly the Kawacho Ryokan) surrounded by 4 white-walled storehouses and 4 gardens built in the Edo period - white plastered earth walls, natural bamboo walls of Kannonji Temple, etc., have been renovated little by little and regenerated (in the process of regeneration). It is an old private house that initially opened as an accommodation facility for almost 100% inbound. Renovation work is being carried out on the semi-open-air bath inside the warehouse and the water area. ■ Healing moss garden ■ There are three moss gardens: the front garden, the middle garden, and the back garden, and well water flows everywhere, flowing between the hand basin, the watering hole, the deer repellent, the stepping stones, and the pot pond, where koi, medaka, tanago, and crayfish live, and a biotope space visited by wild birds. ■ Check-in lounge (cafe/bar space), souvenir corner ■ You can drink authentic cocktails on the first floor of the annex (main building). "Guesthouse Shin" is located just off Miyajima's Machi-dori Street. 　Passing through the entrance curtain, you are greeted by a bamboo wall reminiscent of a Kyoto tengeya, and a stylish production that leads you to the courtyard with stepping stones.The courtyard also has a beautiful balance of white marble and moss, which contributes to the calm atmosphere.There are glass doors so that you can see the courtyard from the living room. 　The building is accessible only to guests through the garden, so there is no need to worry about anyone.From the outside, it looks like an ordinary private house, but once you step inside, the atmosphere changes, and that's what makes the inn so charming.I heard that the previous owner had always loved gardening and had a wide range of hobbies.However, as I mentioned at the beginning, I didn't want to start an inn at first, so there are no bath facilities (there is a shower).However, you can use the nearby inn as an outdoor bath.The first floor is a living room, the second floor is a two-room Japanese-style room that serves as a bedroom, and up to 6 people can stay comfortably. 　In the courtyard, there is a word written in white stones in the middle of the moss.It was built by a gardener in the past with a playful spirit, and is the origin of the inn's name.They want to welcome guests with open hearts and make them feel at ease.

There are two spacious bedrooms and a dining space in a large Japanese-style room. You can enjoy the Japanese countryside comfortably and at your own pace. We can also accommodate Japanese, English, and French. Please let me know if you would like to know more about the charm of Tsuwano and sightseeing. On the days when the host's cafe is open, you can also interact with other customers and enjoy tea and sweets.
