Cottage holiday rentals in Ottawa County

The apartment was beautifully done - very nice decor that made you feel right at home! Amazing views of the lake from every room inside including the bedroom, livingroom, and kitchen. Pictures don't do a justice! The icing on the cake was seeing a bald eagle flying along the lake while we were using the hot tub in the morning. Karen had some excellent recommendations for us and was very friendly and helpful during check in. This place was top notch and we will eventually stay again!

Cute house, very clean and as described. There wasn't a gate in the back - but it looks like there may be one in progress. The hot tub was semi-private due to the gate not being up. Everything else was great.

Marty and John were beyond helpful and were some of the best AirBnb hosts we have ever had. We plan to make a trip back and stay again with them at some point!

We loved this place. It was clean, it had plenty of amenities and was minutes from the water. Our kids enjoyed walking on the beach and collecting shells and my daughter loved the swing set in the front yard! If you have young children this is a great spot!

What a wonderful host and place! Very cozy and very homey. Worked great for the five of us. Very nice big yard for the dog and kids to run. The place was easy to find and easy access to main roads. And ice cream barn only a mile away!

Came for a fishing trip and the home was perfect. Plenty of room to park the truck and boat trailer. Would absolutely recommend Joel’s place and we would love to stay again.

I was at Lakeside off-season for a wedding with my adult son, and Sarah’s place was perfect for us! It is a cute cottage, with multiple sitting areas, a wonderful front porch, great back patio, clean well stocked kitchen, cozy living areas, comfortable beds, washer dryer etc. This is a good cottage for a small family. The stairs are a bit tricky (small treads at top) but when you’re at Lakeside you spend most of your time downstairs and outside, so not too big a deal. The upstairs bathroom is small, with the sink in the hall, but fine for most families. The downstairs bathroom is large and roomy. The location of this cottage is great, easy walking to town, lake or pool. It is charming and comfortable.

Terry's home was perfect for our family and pets. Comfortable, clean, and stocked with all of the amenities we needed. Terry was super helpful and even sent some helpful info a few days prior to our arrival. He lives close by, and is readily available for any issues (we had none). We look forward to our stay next summer!

Nice place to stay. Close to where we wanted to be. Only thing I would recommend is letting people know the bathroom is a tighter fit with the toilet. Otherwise it was exactly what we needed and we enjoyed our stay.

The place was picturesque and perfect.

Beautiful view of the lake is the best selling point for this cottage! Living room/kitchen was very expansive and we had plenty of room to relax. Bedrooms are small but had plenty of closet and drawer space. There was always plenty of hot water. Parking was easy - right outside the door! It was just a short drive to Port Clinton, with plenty of restaurants, etc. and it was easy to get to all the parts of the area as well.

Very nice house in a seemingly good neighborhood host were very easy and quick to communicate, but the train didn't follow the quiet time rules

This is the perfect location for a family (or 2) that want to spend time near Lake Erie. The house is directly across from the nicest playground I’ve been to! There is also beach access at the park. You’re located a few min from the Jet Express and about 20 min from Millers Ferry if you want to hop over to an island for the day. The house is very cute and charming, we enjoyed coffee on the porch and the kids loved the large upstairs loft!

The place matches everything about the description and the hosts were very easy to communicate with. We stayed during the late fall so it was quiet and peaceful and the lake view is amazing.

The price was on par with most hotels in the area, but was more private and much more comfortable. We come to the area a couple of times a year and will definitely avoid the hotels from now on.

Lovely spot with walk to access to the Lake Erie and a beautiful walking community. Of our group of five, three were from the high-end meeting and events industry. Professionally the property was accurately described, clean and in a great location. Access was easy and our group had a great time.
