Beachfront holiday rentals in Ottawa River

We had a perfect stay with Pam and Bryan. Their accommodation is beautiful, spotlessly clean, with many amenities that make the stay very pleasant. The communication with them was smooth and warm, which made the experience even better. We left delighted and highly recommend their accommodation!

We are a family of four with two young kids, and the stay in Azar’s peaceful waters cottage was great. The cottage is beautiful, decorated in very good taste, perfectly equipped and feels very homey. It is very clear that many details have been thought of to make it extremely friendly for guests, particularly for families (for example, there were spare change of sheets in the children’s bedrooms). We stayed there during a snowstorm weekend, so there we didn’t do a lot of travel around the area, but just staying in and hanging around the cottage was beautiful and very enjoyable. The location is very private and quiet. It is a perfect place for families. We would definitely come back to Azar’s cottage to visit the area at other seasons as well.

A wonderful escape from the city for any couple or family! Everything you honestly need is right in the cottage. We had a wonderful time just relaxing, cooking together and making great memories spending quality time with each other. The hot tub & fire pit made it extra special, this was my son’s favourite part! We look forward to returning in the warmer months to take full advantage of the beautiful lake views & access!

Words cannot describe how impressed we were with Laughing Moose. The minute I walked in the front door I felt I could live here for ever. The incredible views, the spacious kitchen the stylish little pieces of decor make this place comfortable, relaxing and luxury. Janice pays attention to every little detail to ensure we had a fabulous time! From the selection of quality glasses, crockery and cooking utensils to the games and puzzles ( we completed a full jig saw puzzle between us) we had everything we could possibly need and much more. Even a thoughtful and delicious blueberry pie to welcome us !! We were visiting from Australia and planned this weekend with our two sons and families for a getaway together. It couldn’t have been more perfect and we made such fabulous memories. So much space for all 8 of us plus the 2 dogs! I can’t thank you enough for this special visit! We actually extended the stay a few extra days because the cabin was a really nice place to chill after a long day on the slopes. The hosts were very responsive and having the place be dog friendly was an added benefit. If we make it back to Mont tremblant we will stay again.

Peter was very quick with his responses and took the time to look up what was near the air bnb. The location was amazing since it was right beside a ski resort and 20 minutes away was the most beautiful skating trail in the forest. The air bnb itself was very nice. We cooked dinner and it had everything we needed and seasoning as well. The only thing would be the TV which we didn’t bring a laptop to connect to, which Peter did communicate to us we needed. It was a very great stay and Peter was ever helpful and kind ! Will come back in the summer for the lake.

Very nice accommodation and very comfortable. Close to the north side of Mont-Tremblant, very convenient. The stay was very pleasant. I will go back and recommend it to my friends.

This place is even more beautiful and spacious than we imagined, and extremely clean. Snow-white towels and comfortable bed sheets. I am very picky about beds, but I slept exceptionally well here. The air conditioning system monitors and shows excellent air quality. We had a gathering of 20 people here, still plenty of space available. The private driveway fits more than ten cars. 2 large living rooms, a big sunroom, a breakfast nook, 4 good size bedrooms, an office (can add a bed), and 4 bathrooms. A stunning master bathtub and a big walk-in closet. The kitchen and the high-end appliances made me feel right at home. In the morning, we sat in the sunlit breakfast nook, enjoyed freshly brewed coffee and the snowy lakeside view. We wished we had more time to explore the big backyard and the lake, but the place was fully booked. The owner mentioned that during peak season, reservations are usually made six months in advance.

Great private place that offers everything you want for a weekend getaway! Host was very helpful and responded within minutes to all our questions. Highly recommended!

Just returned from a great long weekend ski getaway with our adult children and a few of their friends. The condo was exactly as depicted in the photos and description - very clean, lots of space and well-appointed throughout with linens, towels and fully equipped kitchen. Location was fantastic - easy to access Mt Blanc and short drive to the amenities at Mt Tremblant. Hosts were very responsive. Highly recommend and look forward to returning.

This is the cutest little cottage on the beautiful Golden Lake! My boyfriend and i took the provided snowshoes into Algonquin park for some exploring and then warmed up by the fireplace. Cindy and her crew were always very helpful and responsive. We’ll definitely be back again!

Absolutely beautiful location for a relaxing getaway. Quiet and serene sandy beach. Kayaks available as described and we thoroughly enjoyed taking in the views from the lake. Great place to take the opportunity to try out the SUP in the shallows of their sandy beach. Bev and Louise were welcoming and readily available to answer any questions. We truly appreciate our hosts for sharing their home to provide such a wonderful experience.

We rented Amanda's place for 2 nights in the winter and it surpassed our expectations! Amanda was a great communicator. The older cottage has been extensively renovated, it was clean, comfortable and cozy. We loved the wood stove and the heating system worked well. The kitchen is first-rate, and very well-equipped, it even had decent knives! We cook a lot and we very much enjoyed making meals there. We loved watching the ever-changing weather on the river from the picture window in the living room, and even saw a beautiful sunrise. The star of our stay was the sauna—we have a wood-burning sauna at home and at our cottage—and we were very impressed with its size, the modern design, the huge picture window and the style of stove. It got up to temperature even in -17 degree weather. We hiked and snowshoed in the Alexander Hope Smith Nature Reserve which was a walk from the cottage. The town of Washago was a 11 minute drive, with a great grocery store. Would definitely stay there again!

This was an excellent place for our group of 8, lots of space and equipped with everything. It was really nice to have the hot tub under a shelter, the kitchen and living areas were spacious. The two separate eating areas were ideal for the group , lovely scenery , and excellent location.

Jane’s cabin was perfect for our family getaway! We enjoyed the view of the water and taking long dog walks in the bush. Sitting in front of the log fire with my coffee was my favourite thing. Jane was very responsive and helpful letting us check in early. We highly recommend Jane’s cabin. We had a fabulous stay.

The cottage was very nice. The grounds are flat and beautiful. Great location. Everything was perfect for my family of 6.

The place was cozy and well equiped. The little stream in the back yard was a really nice bonus feature. The hosts were accomodating and responsive. We will be back!
