In the cottage, you live a basic life, close to nature in a beautiful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly planted food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, chickens, walking duck, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There is a wood-burning stove.

Luka's Hut, eco-cabin with sauna by the river

Luka's Hut, our beautiful eco-cabin, sits on the banks of the Ganzendiep river in Overijssel. Huge windows provide stunning Dutch views onto the river, the grass meadows with cows & sheep and a picturesque village in the distance. The river is quiet water so have a sauna & a swim, take out the kayak, big canoe or SUPboard. We have a heatpump for the floor heating, and used upcycled items such a charming wood-stove, a fantastic bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, bikes, a firepit & trampoline.

The Nutcracker: cozy farmhouse front house

On one of the most beautiful rural roads just outside the village of Sint Jansklooster is the renovated humpback farm from 1667. We have furnished the front house of the farm as an attractive accommodation for 2 guests who are fond of peace and privacy. The comfortably furnished front house has its own entrance. You have access to 2 canoes and a men's and women's bicycle. The many cycling, hiking and canoeing routes allow you to experience the Weerribben-Wieden National Park in all seasons.

Buiten aan het water je eigen terras. Ook geschikt voor groeps werk met een grote werk tafel. Vintage dus mooi, oud en gezellig. Maar niet spotless.

It has a spacious living room with a luxurious kitchen (and island), two fine bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The entire apartment is decorated with tasteful furniture adjoining our design style. The location of tiny house de Veenweide is perfect for nature lovers. The cottage is located on the edge of the Alde Feanen nature reserve. The area is great for cycling, hiking, boating, mountain biking, canoeing, birding and fishing. The Alde Feanen has a special population of plants and birds, including the sea eagle, osprey, bittern and kingfisher. In addition, chances are that you will see deer and hares running past from the cottage.
