Lodge in the heart of the Wilderness Forest

Rustic charm in the heart of the Wilderness - 3km from Wilderness Central. A cozy forest Lodge which sleeps 2-4 guests comfortably and 2 children in the loft. This beautiful wooden lodge nestled amongst the treetops is peaceful & private. Cozy living spaces with small open plan equipped kitchen and private deck with view of the ocean and forest. Good quality linen, bath towels and soaps are included as well as high-speed Wifi. Communal rock pool and bbq area on the property.

Wilderness Cottage

The cottage is decorated with an African theme in mind. It’s in a residential area, attached to the main house, but is private and has it’s own entrance. Our property overlooks the Nature Reserve. The view is spectacular and one can hear the Fish Eagle’s call from the cliffs above. Often we get a visit from a bush buck at the fence as well as the shy Knysna Loerie. We are a family of four and welcome guests to come and experience this tranquil space!

Situated within a Bird Sanctuary, inside the Wilderness Bushcamp, this cottage offers what we consider the best views in the Wilderness. 75 square meter interior and 25 square meter deck makes this the perfect location for two couples or a family. The cottage is situated in 9 hectares of indigenous forest with uninterrupted views of the ocean and lakes. A perfect place to relax and unwind.

As you enter the space, you will feel the outside world melt away. You won't see another person, structure, or anything else but nature, making it the perfect place to detach, relax and recharge.

AfriCamps at Oakhurst on the Garden Route

Set up high in the mountains, Oakhurst is one of the few remaining large working farms along the Garden Route and covers a massive 640 hectares – 200 of which are pristine fynbos and indigenous forest. To fully immerse visitors in the beauty of the surroundings, the eight AfriCamps tents overlook rolling green fields and the Outeniqua Mountains.
