Casita for two in the valley at BASECAMP 550

Stay in one of our cozy Casitas (tiny houses) that accommodate two people and are situated among a few others at our eclectic campground in the valley between Ridgway and Ouray Colorado. These tiny homes have a small footprint of 250 square feet but feel much larger due to the high vaulted ceilings. They are stocked with your everyday necessities such as linens, cooking basics and showering facilities. We have cleverly designed them to maximize space and hope you enjoy the loft views!

The front entrance is located off 6th Ave (same as Kristopher's Culinary, Hotel Ouray and the MoJo's Coffee Shop), just a half block from Main Street. Nestled against the majestic San Juan Mountains, this beautiful retreat within walking distance to the heart of Ouray provides an escape with the convenience of access, yet the comfort of solitude. The main level of the 2 story townhouse has a living room with gas fireplace, TV, WiFi, dining room, kitchen, a half bath and a laundry room. Upstairs has three bedrooms and one full bath. This is for the south unit, not the unit above the garage which has long term residents.
