The cottage is next to our house and is a cosy, well equipped place to stay for either a commuter mid week or someone wanting to escape for country walks or bicycle rides. It has a small paved terrace for admiring the view. It is within a mile of Pitt Hall Barn, also close to Oakley Hall, Highclere Castle and Newbury Racecourse to name but a few. A very well equipped kitchen/sitting room with comfortable sofa, a bathroom/shower and beautiful double bedroom upstairs. In a beautiful part of Hampshire for walking, cycling or a few days exploring local towns/villages. An ideal working from home environment too with excellent wi-fi. Wonderful views over our garden and the Basingstoke Golf Course.

Lyde Cottage Wilton

Lyde Cottage, is a 3 bedroom open plan, fully accessible holiday let. It is situated in the heart of a working farm in the beautiful village of Wilton near Marlborough. The Cottage is sat in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where the Pewsey Vale meets the North Wessex Downs. The Farm is criss-crossed with footpaths, bridleways and open grass pastures so hiking, running, riding and picnicking are easy to come by, as well as home to Ponies, pigs, alpacas and other farmyard animals.

Stonehenge, Highclere Castle and the New Forest are close by. The coast is approx and hour away. Dogs are welcome. Nether Wallop is a pretty village in the heart of the Test Valley close to the small town of Stockbridge with its independent shops and eateries. We can add an extra futon for a child in the single room so the whole space can fit a family of four.
