Holiday rentals with a kayak in Ozark Mountains

If you’re looking for a lake home to get away to, this is the Place.

If you’re looking in this area, look no further! You will not regret staying here. We loved a super quiet, relaxing stay over New Years. We woke up to those beautiful lake views every morning. Highly recommend stopping at a grocery store on your way in (she tells you this in tips before your stay)….once you’re there, you won’t want to leave. We stayed in the winter, so we couldn’t enjoy going on the lake but the hot tub was perfect to cap off our long walks in the area.

Our family enjoyed a great weekend here! The house itself is stocked with everything you could really need. We loved the dock- the kayak, paddleboard, slide, etc. Made for fun days swimming and hanging out. We rented a boat and brought that to the dock easily. If you are looking for a fun getaway for a family, I’d totally recommend this place! Thanks so much!

We loved the house, it was bigger than we expected and very clean. The house is well stocked with amenities and the view is amazing! 10 out of 10!

Overall, this was an incredible stay. We had the lake basically to ourselves, largely because it's winter, but also the remoteness of this group of cottages. The walk to the water was great and peaceful through a wooded scenery. Lots of winter wildlife and just really nice.

Cabin was very clean, and quiet. Close to the University so we could visit our daughter. Second time for us to stay here and we’ll be back.

We had a wonderful time staying here. The property was absolutely beautiful from the landscaping, to the views, even the cabin like feel inside of the air bnb. The lake front view as you open the door is the icing on top. We always like to have fishing mixed into our vacations and the easy walk to the dock made that possible. There’s seating and plenty of room if there is other visitors doing the same as you. It is conveniently close and an easy drive the strip just across the lake but far enough that it don’t disturb the peace and quite that this place has. The short drive from Branson with the rock walls along the road is beautiful too. This place deserves 5 stars across the board for the price. My family and I already look forward to coming again in the future!

Tammy's home was just as the pictures show it. Very clean. Well-equipped kitchen. Beautiful views. Lots of space. We watched deer and other wildlife. The wifi was slow, but we weren't trying to work. Vandalia is close with all the necessities. We even went into St. Louis a couple of days. Tammy was quick to respond when we had questions.

Amazing place, I do a lot of traveling and this is one that I will return to. Amazing host all the way around. Wonderful place for a family. I will be back.

The place is beautiful and very peaceful. Ginger and her husband were very nice and helpful. My only complaint is that we didn’t stay long enough. We hope to come back again.

We loved the cabin and the view was spectacular! The privacy was top notch. It was a little too cold to go kayaking so we're hoping to come back to enjoy getting out on the river! We highly recommend Charla's cozy cabin!

Very cute place! An adorable cabin just like the pictures. Kris was quick to respond and very thoughtful and kind. I loved the extra attention to details like amenities you might need but are easy to forget. We've always had to buy detergent, but not here! It was the most well-stocked Airbnb we've stayed at yet. There were little figurines hidden throughout which were fun to find and add to😊 Lots of deer and a beautiful view of country and lake. Overall, a great stay!!

The place is beautiful, It's very cozy without being cramped. The shower is tall so my husband was able to comfortably shower. close proximity to Ha Ha Tanka. We had a great stay. Thank you so much

We loved our stay at the Blue Wave cabin! It was spotless, peaceful, and beautiful. The sunsets are stunning over the lake. I have extreme allergies and always get nervous when staying at rentals but even being pet friendly I had no issues. The house was stocked well and even had complimentary things to make smores on the fire pit outside. You can purchase firewood and rent a UTV, though we brought our own on each account. It really was a pleasure and we can’t wait to get back. The only thing I wish they had was a hot tub on the porch.

Me and my family did a short stay and when we got to the house it was very clean and in a great quiet location. If we ever get a chance and come back this way would love to stay again.

We had a wonderful stay! Enjoyed the cabin, lake, kayaks, canoe, dock. bunk house, hiking, everything we needed was in cabin, beautiful property, wonderful communication with hosts! Can’t wait to come back!

Great location next to river. We were able to enjoy the sound of it from the upstairs balcony. Jay and his wife were very welcoming and accomodated our last minute booking with all the ammenities we could want for a nice cabin out in the beautiful wilderness. The only reason we didnt give it 5 stars all around is the neighbors were a bit noisy and quite close. Its not quite as secluded as we hoped. But thats no fault of Jay's. The area is well worth the stay and he was an amazing host.
