we enjoyed our week long stay at Hank's place. the area is beautiful and there is a lot to do. Hank had a number of useful kitchen amenities and was very friendly and accommodating! thank you!

We LOVED everything about this location. Iao Valley is so special and the location of the AirBNB itself was perfect for getting all around the island. We visited at the end of March and never ran the AC once. It was hot during the afternoon but the morning/late afternoon/evening cool off, with the winds blowing into the valley were so perfect. AND the birdsong in the morning was so beautiful that I recorded it and sent it to my family (minus the rooster song- but that's just Maui living for ya). If you want a good cocktail check out Ester's Fair Prospect, they have a nice selection of liquor and a fun vibe, located in the city of Wailuku right next door to this place. Also we loved the goodies that were left in the fridge. The pineapple on the island is SOOO good. Sooooooo good. Forget the banana bread hype... just eat the pineapples and bananas fresh! Mahalo!

Great place for exploring Maui, especially if you want to get away from the resorts and enjoy a cute Hawaiian town and upcountry. Margit’s place has everything you need (full kitchen, lanai, beach towels, w/d, filtered water….). Her cottage is well taken care of and in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Top notch.

Unique stay just outside of Makawao, perfect location for Muai's upcountry adventures. Staying here shaved at least 45 minutes of the drive to sunrise at Haleakala compared to staying at the resorts on the south side of Maui. Very unusual home, we thought it looked like a bamboo space ship. It would work well for small family or two couples who were good friends, plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen was very well stocked, be aware there is no dishwasher. Host was responsive and gracious. Would stay again if we are ever back in Maui.

We had a great stay at Alexandra’s. The apartment is very cute and clean, and it’s in a great location to enjoy Kihei. Just a few minutes driving from all the restaurants and beaches. At the same time, the neighborhood is very quiet and we woke up every morning with the sounds of birds singing.

We wish we could have stayed longer. David a Dawn put a lot of hard work into the space. The pool/hottub and sauna were very clean and enjoyable. The Jungalow itself felt very private and great sunset. Everything you could need is there for you kitchen, bathroom, fireplace, plenty of seating everywhere . The open air and big windows make you feel like you’re living outside. The porch and balcony were great for relaxing on. Plenty of parking and easy to get in and out. The property itself is gorgeous. Great flowers plants and trees, smelled great everywhere you went. Plenty of places to go from the property and they were very helpful in telling us the best spots to check out. We really had a nice relaxing stay. The stars at night while in the hot tub made it so relaxing. The shower situation was a surprise but, I got over it quickly. The personal touches made it very romantic. The special treats were more than what I expected. Sharyn, your place was above and beyond my expectations and I wish I could have stayed one more day!

Lovely well appointed place, perfect for 3 adults. Thoughtful amenities to make cooking and beach going easy. No AC needed as the breeze through all of the windows was great. So nice to have laundry facilities, and a great little grocery and small beach a block away. Very clear folder with directions and recommendations, as well as lots of Maui guidebooks on the shelf. A very comfortable stay!

It’s our 2nd time staying there. Her remodel looks great. The kitchen and patio are awesome.

We loved the cottage. It was the perfect for our family. It is towards the back of the whole property and right up against the golf course, so it was very private with PHENOMENAL views. My daughter enjoyed walking the property and picking up rogue golf balls. The layout of the bedrooms is a little strange with two stacked right next to each other and one only having shutters to the rest of the space, but it still served us well. We loved that there was a living room that opened into the kitchen and dining room. My in laws loved having their morning coffee on the lanai. The AC worked great, the only downside is that the AC is not vented into the dining area, but not a deal breaker. When we first arrived (earlier than expected), the AC unit display was not working, but the on island property manager was quick to respond and had someone out to fix asap was just a dead battery. Would HIGHLY recommend, and will stay again if we are on the West Coast. Pools were EMACULATE and great to use!

The property and location were amazing. However, what really made our vacation special was how thoughtful and considerate Jim was. It was a pleasure to chat with him, the amenities inside the home felt very purposeful and well thought out, and Jim paid special attention to the fact we were traveling with young children. I could not have asked for a better location or a better host. Our trip was fantastic and stress free because Jim was such a great host. I'm already trying to plan our next stay in Maui and will make every effort to book Jim's place again.

Really enjoyed this beautiful home on the Island of Maui. It was my first time on Maui with my family. The outdoor patio area was very nice. The location was convenient and close to nearby areas on the Island. Emma was an excellent host and friendly. She gave great recommendations of activities to do on the island and was a great communicator.

We loved this Airbnb! Leanne was super responsive and the place was clean and well stocked with everything we needed plus some! It was also close to several beaches. We enjoyed morning walks on the beach and beautiful sunsets in the evenings. Super quiet and secluded spot! Beautiful landscaping too! Definitely recommend!

We had a great stay at Bianca's beautiful home. From the outset Bianca was friendly and so accommodating. Her instructions were clear and the property was exactly what you see from photos (if not better!) She was super responsive and flexible when we asked to check out slightly later due to a work call. Maui Eco Retreat was nothing short of magical. The energy on the grounds was something I never expected—calming, vibrant, and deeply rejuvenating. From the moment we booked, the pre-arrival communication made us feel completely at ease, setting the tone for an unforgettable stay.We arrived at 10 PM and were greeted by William, who welcomed us with such warmth and enthusiasm. His passion for the retreat was evident, making us feel instantly at home. We stayed for four nights in the Bamboo Temple, a serene sanctuary with the most breathtaking ocean and sunrise views. Waking up at 6 AM was effortless when rewarded with the golden light streaming through the massive bay window—an experience in itself. Our mornings started with a quick 10-minute drive to grab coffee before returning to our beautifully equipped room to prepare breakfast. The retreat had everything we needed, including a fully equipt kitchen. After breakfast, I would head to the yoga studio for a 60-minute flow, followed by

Rosa and Carl are wonderful hosts. They were very kind and helpful providing lots of tips for trips. Accomodation was perfect, refreshments waiting for us after long fly from Europe. Fully recommended. Mahalo!

We love Maui and are so thrilled to have found such a lovely place to stay. Katherine and Dean couldn’t have been more welcoming, helpful and kind. Kihei is a terrific base for exploring and enjoying the island. As we drove out to head to the airport, we all said it was the best Airbnb experience we have had (among many wonderful Airbnb experiences and basically no bad ones). We will be back! :)

My family enjoyed staying in the cottage while on vacation. It has everything you need. The pool was perfect. My 12 year old son used the pool every day. The cottage is close to the beach, too. Best vacation so far!
