“The Hillview place is great and very clean. The space is cool and the beds super comfortable. Kitchen is good and extra supplies were given when asked. The place is in a super location close to a big park and old diet and big supermarket and shops. We arrived when there was a big festival is town with elephants in the parade. It was great. The hosts are graceful and very nice. Would stay again for sure. Thanks.”

“We had an outstanding stay here. We wish we could have stayed longer. Such welcoming and caring people & they have thought of so many homely and unique touches. The homemade ice tea was delicious when we arrived. The home is beautiful and super clean. We also had our best Sri Lankan breakfast here - totally recommend this. Thank you for the special stay and adding another positive and happy memory to our cycle tour in Sri Lanka. We hope to see you both again one day :)”
Its a unique place surrounded by misty mountains, water falls, tea gardens, birds and animals with tea estate workers. We offer nature, fresh water from the knuckles, delicious local food with what is grown in the garden. A special guided tour to the knuckels peak with a local man. Experience with adventure, nature and a true Sri Lankan experience.
“What my husband and I mostly value and take away from our 3day stay with Senaka is that he enabled us to look and feel into the life being lived by people in a mountain village, which hasn’t been negatively impacted by tourism. Watching the woman harvest tea every day, seeing children go and come from school, hearing them from far chatting like little birds, gifting monks with food for the day and Senaka’s patience and enthusiasm to answer all our questions and share his life story with us, make these 3 days truly unforgettable. Senaka’s and Komati’s hospitality and generosity is absolutely outstanding! We only realized once we were there, that we were the closest possible to the start of the knuckles hike (only 10min walk to the start), which was great as we were the first people on the track and had a very peaceful and quiet walk up with our gentle and caring guide Ari. What Senaka is offering is (in my opinion) what air b&b truly stands for.”
