In cooler months, go leaf peeping, skiing, snowshoeing, shopping/antiquing, then return home and cozy-up by the fireplace. During the warmer months, enjoy a zip line ride, hiking, mountain biking, or a swim in Kaaterskill Creek, then relax and unwind in our spacious sunroom. Hunter Ski Resort is 15 minutes away, Wyndham Ski Resort is 30 minutes away, and several NY state park trailheads are steps from the front door.

Warm in winter and cool in the summer, enjoy the Solo fire ring on the deck, gas grill, La Colombe coffee, and hammock. The cabin is two hours north of NYC, with a refrigerator, Wifi, propane, furnace, and wood stove. Woodstock, Kingston, the Hudson River and hiking trails 15 min away.

Large windows and private deck look out onto a gentle incline leading to a scenic pond. You may be awakened by songbirds, the sighting of a heron, hummingbird, or deer. Hop in your car for the short drive to Catskill, Hudson, Woodstock, or Saugerties. This area will keep you coming back time and time again. Located less than 2 hours from NYC and just 15 min Exit 20 of the NYS Thruway.

The treehouse resides on the locally famous Fernwood property. Our family ran a restaurant here since the 1970's. We no longer operate the restaurant, but the property is gorgeous. The treehouse is at the end of a road with a private swimming hole. Right out of the treehouse is the entrance to the famous long trail, plenty of hiking here. Also in town is the entrance to The Catskill Wild Forest. Hiking into Kaaterskill Falls is one of the main attractions here in town.
