Villa holiday rentals in Panormos in Rethymno

The Grand Luxe Villa was the perfect place to stay. The communication was great, even more so because they use a Whats App concierge service who answer any questions or doubts. The villa was spotless, has amazing amenities, had super comfortable beds, blackout blinds and the pool and hot tub were the highlight. It was also great to use the outside grill for a nice barbecue at sunset. There are nice restaurants and beaches around and lake kournas is only a few minutes by car with stunning views. We had a fabulous stay.

Es war absolut perfekt. Wir hatten schon vor der Ankunft per What s app kontakt, so war es überhaupt kein Problem in die Unterkunft zu kommen. Das Haus ist ein Traum, vom Flughafen in 25 Minuten zu erreichen, die nächste Taverne ist 5 Minuten weg und sehr zu empfehlen. Alles Tip Top sauber, es wurde sogar einmal während unseres Aufenthaltes durchgewischt und neue Handtücher gabs auch. Es ist alles da was man braucht, sogar eine Grundausstattung an Lebensmittel, es wäre der erste Hunger gestillt. Es gibt absolut nichts negatives zu berichten, wir würden sehr gerne wieder kommen.

Wir haben als Paar 11 Tage in dieser wunderschönen Villa verbracht. Es war alles traumhaft und können diese Villa nur empfehlen! Die Lage ist einfach grandios: ruhig gelegen, atemberaubender Blick aufs Meer und auf die Berge und dennoch ist man in nur 3 Minuten mit dem Auto am schönen Strand von Damnoni, wo es auch tolle Tavernen gibt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es zahlreiche in Plakias, ebenso nur eine kurze Autofahrt entfernt. Wir haben jeden Tag genossen. Sei es am Pool (ein absolutes Highlight), auf der großartigen Terasse mit vielen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten, am Strand oder bei einem Tagesausflug. Von den Gästen in den angrenzenden Villen haben wir nicht viel mitbekommen, da sie etwas auf Abstand gebaut sind und Sichtschutz vorhanden ist. Wir haben uns nie in unserer Privatsphäre gestört gefühlt. Manos ist ein wunderbarter Gastgeber. Sehr freundlich und sympathisch, zurückhaltend und immer da, wenn man ihn braucht. Ein traumhafter Urlaub an diesem wunderbaren Ort! DANKE!

Absolutely amazing place. The view is breathtaking, you can’t get enough of it and there are two large terraces to enjoy it from. The swimming pool is a nice touch too, small but the same time big enough to cool down and sunbathe next to it if you don’t feel like going to the beach. Super easy and friendly interactions with Manos and the rest of the team. Warm welcome and attention all the way through the stay. There were a lot of little, but important details that we really appreciated, such as: bottled water, some juices and fruits that were waiting for us in the fridge, as well as some local snacks and olive oil. On my birthday, a lovely greeting card and a bottle of Ouzo appeared in our villa which was also an unexpected but an excellent gesture. Everyone was really friendly and we felt truly welcomed. Many thanks to all! Although it’s only 3.5 km away from The center of Plakias, I’d definitely recommend hiring a car, as the villa is up on the hill, hence the stunning view.

We LOVED everything about this house! The house is beautiful, clean and equipped with everything you need. Eleni and Georgios are very friendly, welcoming and attentive to detail. The house is located in a great location. It's situated in a quiet neighborhood and is walking distance to one of the prettiest beaches on the island and several restaurants and shops. There is also a great grocery store just down the road. And the views! There are views from every room! The hike on the east side of the beach is spectacular with beautiful flowers and plant life and views of the water and distant mountains. Eleni and Georgios, thank you for everything! We hope that we can come back one day.

We had a great stay at Villa Solaris. The outdoor area was fantastic, including a heated pool and BBQ with several outside seating areas. There were also lovely views of the nearby mountains towards Lake Kournas. The villa was well stocked with fruit, veg and other basic ingredients on arrival, which was very welcome. Our hosts - Giannis and Stelios - were very responsive and hospitable. They greeted us on arrival and throughout our stay, and even left us with some raki and olive oil at the end. We would recommend having a car for easy access to Chania and Rethmyno, as there are not a lot of nice tavernas / shops within walking distance. However, there is a relatively well stocked supermarket approx. 10 min walk away.

Atemberaubende Aussicht! Das Haus ist nagelneu, es entspricht genau den abgebildeten Bildern. Der Pool ist sehr groß & tagsüber gibt es einen perfekten Mix aus sonnigen und schattigen Plätzen. In der Nähe gibt es viele kleine Tavernen, man musste nie weit fahren. Ganz klare Empfehlung für diese Villa, sie ist perfekt & wir würden jederzeit liebend gerne wiederkommen!

The house has been fully redecorated to a high modern day standard. It's spacious and very private, also thanks to the walled inner garden with swimming pool, and possibilities to park two cars behind an electronically operated gate. The house is clean and the beds very comfortable. Also ideal when traveling with two couples of which one has children, because one bedroom has a separate front door that is accessible from the garden (under the roof top terrace). A very nice local restaurant and a supermarket are within walking distance. I highly recommend staying here!

A Slice of Paradise – Five Stars All Around! We had the most incredible time staying at this large and stunning villa in the Loutraki/Chania area. The property is nothing short of breathtaking, with lush, beautifully maintained gardens and crystal-clear water right at your doorstep. The direct beach access was a dream—so easy and convenient—and we spent countless hours floating in the calm sea and enjoying the serene, quiet atmosphere. The views from every direction were spectacular, making it hard to leave the villa! The villa itself is exquisite, with a spacious, well-designed area for cooking and relaxing. It’s the perfect blend of luxury and comfort. Demetrios, our host, went above and beyond, offering incredible hospitality and even surprising me with a birthday cake, which made our stay all the more special. If you’re looking for a tranquil, beautiful retreat this is the place!

We had a very nice stay at this place. The host and his caretaker was very helpful from the day we came to we left. The Strandvilla was very nice. What you se at the pictures is what you get. The house and the garden/pool area was very nice and clean. The house and the pool was cleaned several time during our stay. The kitchen has all you need to make dinner etc. We were 2 adults and 6 young peoples, the neighbor on the one side was familys whith small kids and the other neighbour was a group of adult ladies, so this villas fits for everyone. Close by (70 meters) you find a lokal taverna with very good food, very nice host and good service. The beach is 100 meter from the house and it is perfeckt for small children because of the calm sea. You can take the bus to Chania, it goes 4 times during the day, but i recommend to hire a car so you can experiens the whole island (different beaches, small villages and to get to the mini marked). Wir hatten in der Villa Allure einfach den perfekten Aufenthalt! Das Haus ist ein absoluter Traum! Ich habe so etwas vorher wirklich noch nicht gesehen. Mit wieviel Liebe zum Detail die Einrichtung ausgewählt wurde ist einfach der Wahnsinn. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wir waren acht Frauen, die eine Woche in der Villa Rodea verbracht haben. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit, der Ausblick ist wundervoll und wir hatten eine unkomplizierte Betreuung durch das Komos-Team. Wir kommen wieder.

The name says it all. It was, in fact, a gem. A total gem. Gorgeous house, gorgeous pool, rooms were all great, great views, I can go on and on. Rafael was the man. The bomb. The guru. Let him recommend what to do and where to go and do what he says. His food recommendations, destination recommendations, l insights, helpfulness - all were spot on. We had a couple small pre-season kinks that needed to be ironed out but they did them instantaneously. One phone call and voila. Theo was so helpful in the lead-up as well. He helped organize things and even helped order legs of lamb for us to cook on Easter. He was great. So the place is 15 minutes from old town Rethymno and I wouldn’t want it any other way. I am writing this from old town where I am spending the next 2 days and I already miss being at that house. It was perfectly situated. Close enough to the hustle, but far enough away to decompress. It’s absolutely perfect. Thank you all for such a magnificent wedding week!

The owners were great always on hand and responded very quickly - they arranged car hire and food delivery for our arrival. Would highly recommend this property especially if you like it private - it’s a great location to travel around due to close proximity to main roads to explore along the coast or go down to the south of the island. Would recommend you hire a vehicle, there is a Lidl 5 mins away and the main town is just around 10 mins. This would be ideal for family with older children as there is a great pool and plenty of activities ie pool table / table tennis table. The property was extremely clean with plenty of towels and lovely basket with some fruit / wine on arrival - great hosts and property….

Also many thanks for the support when Noel was not feeling so well and we had to go to hospital - that is/was also above average. The villa is absolutely superb and everything is as described! Our family of 5 had really enjoyed staying at this location. While being quite remote (30min to closest village), it was very tranquil and peaceful. Nothing beats the quiet sunrises that were interrupted only by an occasional bird, goat or sometimes wind. Villa and everything in there was as noted in the listing. Hosts left a couple of surprises as well to make us feel at home. Drive in and out, while could be found a bit challenging by some, was totally fine. While hosts recommend an SUV, it could be done in pretty much any car, as we saw. Communication was excellent though out our booking and stay. We would definitely recommend Maximos and his team to anyone looking for a quiet retreat and who does not mind driving around. If you are looking for a party place, stay on the northern coast 😀

Wonderful villa in great location for family Holliday. Facilities were great and as described. The garden is beautiful and adds to the feeling of the outside space. Good shade and sun spots in the garden at all times of day. We had a lovely time exploring the local area as well as going further afield to explore Create to the full. Lots of lovely walks possible from the villa and the local beaches perfect for low key family beach safe for kids. The bedrooms were all lovely especially the master beadroom with beautiful balcony. Host was fantastic at communication and helped us with any questions we had responding promptly and efficiently to any difficulties. Would highly recommend.

The villa is a most beautiful place for a relaxed family vacation. Quiet, spacious and with all the amenities for a relaxed stay. The next town is nearby, only a few minutes away by car. The local support is excellent, very friendly, very responsive and alert. All in all, a very recommendable place.

The house is simply gorgeous. Our family had a wonderful Christmas holiday here. The host was very generous with items in the refrigerator and a well stocked kitchen. Lots of recommendations of places to eat in the area. Michael met us in the driveway upon arrival and showed us everything in the house, that was very kind. Especially loved access to the washer and dryer because we were traveling with kids. It was too cold to use the pool, but if you are here when it is warm, it would be such delight.

I can’t thank Antonio, Yiannis & the Sueno team for such a great stay. Nothing was too much to ask and they were all available to help throughout my short stay. The villa is stunning with lots of lovely touches such as robe, slippers, shampoo & conditioner and even a welcome hamper! Thanks again for a wonderful stay and for being amazing hosts.

We stayed as a family of four for a week. The villa consisted a main floor with a modern, clean and well equipped kitchen, a comfortable sitting/dining room with lovely views over souda bay and towards chania. A large jacuzzi bath was also off the sitting area. The rest of this floor was three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a shower/ tub combo and the other a wetroom style. A further bedroom/ shower room was on the floor below via an outside staircase as well as a well equiped gym. The outside area was expansive and enough for our boys to run around. The villa also had a number of indoor and outdoor games for the boys to enjoy. But a lot of our time was spent in the heated pool! Overall, we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The villa was very clean, comfortable with stunning hilltop views. The location was close to the airport, local resturants and shops and we had food delivered to us a number of times. A special point was the kindness and helpfulness of our hosts, thank you!

Our family had a wonderful time at the villa. Before we even got there, Chania Rentals were very helpful and answered all my questions. Artemis was there to greet us on arrival, despite the very late hour after our flight, and was happy to talk us through everything. We had a few small problems with the villa during our stay but Artemis was so prompt and helpful to come out straight away to sort everything. The stunning views from the villa, the peace and quiet, the gorgeous pool which we heated for the week (definitely worth the extra money in April as it made the pool warm enough to enjoy!), the beautiful decor...our family loved it all. Aquilla Villa will be our family's fondest memory of the holiday :-)!
