We have created modern accommodation but kept the character of the barn with its original oak beams and stone. Dating back to the 1700’s this servant’s cottage has been lovingly refurbished whilst still remaining true to its character with the addition of a modern compact but functional kitchenette it retains the original beams doors and fire place-plus a secret door to the servant staircase! This gite is tucked away right in the heart of this beautiful, rural, French village. A short 2 minute walk from the local bakery, butchers, supermarket, pharmacy, bank and bar/restaurant . La maison d’Apolline est une petite demeure de charme située à Lassay les Châteaux, à 2 km du château de Lassay et à 15 km de Bagnoles de l'Orne Normandie (15 minutes en voiture). La maison est composée d'un rez de chaussée (entrée, mezzanine, salon, partie repas et cuisine) et d'un étage (chambre et salle de bains) entièrement équipés et proposant une connexion wifi gratuite. L'escalier métallique est central. La décoration est soignée. L'équipement est plutôt haut de gamme.

However, please be aware that the site is not connected to water and electricity networks, so you will need to be mindful of your energy consumption during your stay.
