Very close (50m) to the house there is the square of Xanthos and the Town Hall which can be reached by car or any other vehicle. A hundred meters above you can find the historical Monastery of Saint John and in just 5 minutes walk from the house you can reach Agia Levia's square. From the rooftop of the house you will have a panoramic view of the port, the windmills, the Monastery and you can enjoy the amazing sunset.

It overlooks the Icarian Sea with wonderful sunsets, but also the port of Skala. It has a private parking space and can accommodate 3-6 people. Το παλιό ξυλουργείο και το σιδηρουργείο του Παππού Γιάννη, ενώθηκαν με σεβασμό και έγιναν ένα παραδοσιακό νησιωτικό σπίτι, κρατώντας όσα περισσότερα στοιχεία από το παρελθόν του οικήματος. Βρισκεται 7 περίπου λεπτά από το κέντρο της Σκάλας και από την κοντινότερη παραλία. Κοντά στο σπίτι υπάρχει αρτοποιείο μανάβικο και σούπερ μάρκετ. Η παραλία Μελόι είναι στα 2 λεπτά μακριά με το Αυτοκίνητο και το Αγριολιβαδι στα 6.
