Today, it is a private Estate with big jungle trees, about 4km of trails, fruit orchards and beautiful gardens. The house has been fully renovated and is welcoming and comfortable. A large wrap-around terrace looks out toward Volcán Barú and La Amistad Park. Hacienda Viva offers a setting to slow down and reconnect. The cottage is surrounded by abundant nature and gardens with many local plants and flowers. We are located at 4 minutes driving to downtown, where you can find parks, tours, hiking trails and excellent gastronomy. Upon request we can set you tours, private transfers, shuttles and catering service, before your arrival.

Enjoy larger than life views to both the north towards the continental divide and to the west framing Volcan Baru, Panama’s highest peak.

Cozy cabins that will make your stay in Paso Canoas pleasant. Excellent for shopping as they are 2km from the Paso Canoas free zone, in front of the Inter-American highway. Pet-friendly, we have some dogs. If you visit us with pets, you must pay at check-in $20 / ¢10,000 for the first night of the pets' stay and $10 / ¢5000 for each extra night.
