The house is located on the shore of the lake, in a peaceful location in the middle of nature, 58 km (50 min) from Rovaniemi. The cottage has stunning views of the lake. You can go out with snowshoes on the lake ice. There are also sledges and snow equipment for children. The northern lights can also be seen weather permitting. Distances: Rovaniemi 58km (50 min drive) Santa Claus Village 65km (60 min drive) Ranua Zoo 47km (40 min drive)

Willa Merilä

The entire cottage and courtyard are available to guests. There is space for a car in the yard, I recommend renting a car, the driving time is only an hour from the center of Rovaniemi. The cottage is located in a beautiful place by the river. Forest and nature are within walking distance and there is a public campfire place nearby where you can go and fry sausages and enjoy the campfire. In winter, you can look at the stars in the sky and search for the northern lights from the large windows of the cottage. The cottage has a sofa bed that is 140 cm wide.

Artturi's Fish Cabin

Traditional log cabin, located in the middle of the forest far from services. 65 km to Rovaniemi Airport, 40 km to Lake Kemijärvi. If you're comfortable on your own and enjoy a simple life in the middle of nature, this stay is for you. Here you will enjoy the quiet and darkness. If you're lucky, you'll get to admire the Northern Lights from the home yard. In the immediate vicinity of the cottage you can fish, hunt and hike. We rent snowshoes. There is a lean-to and a nature trail nearby. We will help you find program services.

Cabin is ideal for guests who are looking for peace and quiet and distance from the hustle and bustle of the city and the light pollution, but are within driving distance of many of the places to visit. Cabin is located about 45min drive from Rovaniemi. The cabin gives guests a peek into local lifestyle and offers authentic cabin experience

Charming cottage with all the amenities on a large plot. The distance to the center of Rovaniemi is only about 25 km. The distance to Santa Claus Village or the airport is also about 25 km. No public transport. The roads are well maintained even in winter. The cottage is easy to get to. If you wish, transportation can be arranged by Mercedes Benz Vito car for an additional fee. Korouoma hiking trails and winter ice falls are only 5 kilometers away - the perfect destination for hikers, ice climbers and nature lovers all year round.

Glamping in Aurora Igloo

Experience our unique Aurora igloo. Clamping near the city centre but still next to the forest. See and feel the frost around you but enjoy the warmness of the real fire and down blanket. Enjoy Lapland! We have only one igloo in our garden and it is one of a kind! You may also use the garden around for winter fun activities. We have sledges and shuffles for your use. There is no jacuzzi/hot tub or sauna available in this accommodation I am afraid.

Welcome to stay on our local reindeer farm. The ensuite guesthouse is located in our courtyard by the beautiful (Raudanjoki) riverbank. Forrest starts just outside the premises so leave the noise and lights of the city behind and come to enjoy the peace and quiet. Some of our reindeers live by the courtyard, we have winter walking track nearby forest and a perfect location for spotting the northern lights.

Holiday Home Lumimarja

Welcome to the middle of nature to enjoy the cozy atmosphere of a log cabin. This holiday home, built in 2013, is located only about a 30-minute drive from the center of Rovaniemi and Santa Claus Village. The cabin has two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a fireplace, and a wood-fired sauna where you can experience the Finnish sauna culture. There is also a private lean-to (laavu) on the premises.

Atmospheric house on the shore of Kemijoki

On the scenic Kemijoki riverbank, about an hour's drive from Rovaniemi, 65 km towards Kuusamo. I recommend renting a car. Fully equipped 75 m2 cottage with two bedrooms, kitchen, sauna, bathroom, porch and terrace. There is a beach near the cottage (about 700 m). Opportunities for snowmobiling, fishing, berry picking and hunting, as well as hiking. There is a boat launch about 1.2 km away.
