We had a great time in Kare's lovely house. Kare is very friendly and always ready to help us if needed. The house is one of the best I had ever been to on vacation!

Our stay at Tarja and Scott’s house was one of the best adventures of our lives. Even before the trip, they were very kind and helpful. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and had everything we needed. The house was cozy and warm, with plenty of firewood. There is also a beautiful kota near the house where we could cook on the fire and watch the northern lights. We were lucky to see the aurora five nights in a row. Scott also gave us great advice about hiking and kindly let us stay a bit longer on our last day. Before we left, we had a nice talk and learned more about his life. We will always remember this peaceful place by the lake and hope to return one day. :)

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Haus war einfach unvergesslich! Die Lage am Fluss war absolut atemberaubend und die Aussicht auf die Natur rundum ließ uns jeden Tag aufs Neue staunen. Ein ganz besonderes Highlight war der Abend, an dem wir die Polarlichter direkt über dem Haus und dem angrenzenden Fluss sehen konnten – ein Anblick, den man wohl nur selten im Leben erlebt! Es war ein magischer Moment, den wir nie vergessen werden. Die Umgebung war unglaublich ruhig und privat – perfekt, um wirklich abzuschalten und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Für uns war es die perfekte Auszeit, fernab vom hektischen Alltag. Die Fahrt zur nächsten Stadt und Einkaufsmöglichkeit dauert zwar etwa eine halbe Stunde, aber das war für uns überhaupt kein Problem, denn es hat sich absolut gelohnt, in dieser idyllischen Lage zu wohnen. Ein Auto ist hier definitiv notwendig, um die Region bequem zu erkunden. Alles in allem war es eine traumhafte Woche, die wir in vollen Zügen genossen haben.

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes AirBnB in toller Lage. Zu Fuß ist man in ca. 10-15 Minuten in der Innenstadt und trotzdem ist die Lage der Unterkunft sehr ruhig. Die Küche war super ausgestattet und es war sehr gemütlich. Es gab kuschelige Hausschuhe, einen Kaminofen und eine Auswahl an Spielen. Die Betten waren auch sehr bequem. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. :)

Karis Haus hat uns schon beim Betreten super gefallen. Es war warm und alles notwendige war vorhanden. Die Sauna war einfach in der Handhabung. Unsere Tochter hatte ihren eigenen Schlittenhügel und war ständig draußen im Schnee zum Spielen. Es ist sehr sicher für Kinder, da man absolut privat ist. Einen Abend hatten wir sogar eine Auroraexplosion direkt über der Unterkunft. Es war magisch. Wir waren 9 Tage hier und hatten perfektes Wetter Die Lage ist super, um die Gegend rund um Rovaniemi zu erkunden. Man ist zudem schnell im Supermarkt und in der Stadt. Kari ist ein netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können seine Blockhütte jedem empfehlen, der nicht direkt in der Stadt wohnen möchte. Vielen Dank Kari, dass wir deine Gäste sein durften.

Pasi est un hôte très réactif et sympathique, La maison est typique et en même temps très agréable avec tout le confort nécessaire, la literie est de bonne qualité et il y a tout ce dont on a besoin dans la maison et à proximité. Nous recommandons et remercions Pasi pour notre séjour.

Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt bei euch! Es war super! Wir waren fünf Tage dort, konnten jeden Abend Polarlichter sehen und hatten viel Spaß, die Gegend zu erkunden. Die Unterkunft ist gut mit dem Bus zu erreichen und dank etwas Vorbereitung konnten wir in der gut ausgestatteten Küche hervorragend kochen und essen. Ein absolutes Highlight war auch das von den Anwohnern gekochte Mittagessen mit anschließendem Bingo. Wir möchten ein ganz großes Danke sagen. Es war sehr gemütlich bei euch!

Loved the place, wonderful sauna, beautiful balcony. Owner was super responsive, attentive and communicative. Sofa bed is not the best for 2 adults but it's soft and comfy, we had children with us so they slept fine there. Will definitely look for this apartment next time i stay in Rovaniemi!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Unterkunft. Die Lage direkt neben dir Piste ist toll, auch zum Supermarkt sind es nur wenige Schritte. Die Kommunikation mit Minna lief immer schnell und zuverlässig ab. Wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen:)

Super appartement, spacieux, lumineux, calme et bien placé. La place de parking privative et le sauna ont été appréciés.

Magnifique séjour dans le logement à Miia. Quel bel appartement, nous serions bien restés plus longtemps tellement nous nous y sentions bien. Miia a été très accueillante et nous étions libres de venir quand nous le souhaitions. De superbes activités sont proposées tout autour du logement, c’était vraiment pratique et idéal pour nous. Merci pour tout !

Es war ein Traum! Das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen. Ideal für Skifahrer, aber auch zum wandern und erkunden lädt es ein. Mit dem Kamin im Wohnzimmer bekommt man eine wundervolle Atmosphäre! Die Kommunikation lief perfekt und man kann Vorort schöne Touren buchen

We had a fantastic stay at Jaana ’s place for our cross-country skiing weekend! The location was perfect, the accommodations were comfortable, and the host was incredibly flexible and responsive, making everything super easy for us. After long days on the trails, it was great to come back to a cozy space. Highly recommend—would definitely stay again!

Erittäin viehättävä ja toimiva mökki. Majoituimme kahdestaan, mutta petipaikkoja on neljällekin. Kauniisti sisustettu, hyvin varusteltu ja sijainti on rauhallinen. Ei puhtaasti kaupallinen mökki eli kaikesta näki, että mökki on tehty itselle ja sitä vaalitaan. Mökissä ei kuitenkaan ollut henkilökohtaisia tavaroita, joten siinä oli miellyttävä majoittua maksavana vieraanakin. Itäisen Lapin reissua suunnitellessamme valitsimme Suomun nimenomaisesti tämän majoituksen takia, ja valinta oli onnistunut. Yksi parhaista Airbnb-majoittumisistani. Ha sido una estancia muy agradable en la cabaña de Alexey. El alojamiento tiene todo lo que se indica y es muy cómodo. Lo único que cabría destacar es que a veces en coche el acceso puede ser complicado pero las máquinas quitan la nieve periódicamente.

We stayed at Daria's Cabin for 5 days. The arrival process was easy and clear, as well as the check-in instructions. It’s suitable for two people or a small family. It’s about a 50-minute drive from Rovaniemi city center, with a small grocery store around 10 minutes away and a gas station nearby. The place is warm, cozy, and exactly like the pictures. It was very clean, well-organized, and equipped with all the appliances you may need. Daria is very helpful and quick to respond, constantly checking in on us to see if we needed anything. I am happy with my stay and would love to repeat the experience 🤍

I had an incredible time at Riitta’s charming cabin. She welcomed us warmly, allowed an early check-in, and explained everything about the cabin, sauna, and activities. The cabin was small and simple, yet comfortable, with a cozy bed, warm blankets, and a window offering a stunning sky view. Heating is wood-fired (lasting ~3 hours), the bathroom is outside, and there’s no electricity (Riitta can lend lanterns). Bring your own food—there’s a gas stove, cookware, and a 5L water container provided. We were lucky to witness two nights of breathtaking Northern Lights, watching them dance across the sky and even falling asleep with the aurora visible through the window—truly magical! The sauna was another highlight: a traditional Finnish experience with optional cold dips and hot water baths. You can also snowshoe, ski, sled, or enjoy a cozy barbecue with equipment provided by Riitta. Everything was exceptional! Thank you, Riitta, for the kindness and unforgettable memories.

Wir waren zu zweit für 12 Nächte in Lokka. Die Unterkunft ist genauso wie Markku es beschrieben hat. Super schön, ruhig gelegen und ein direkter Ausblick auf den See. In der Nähe lässt es sich prima spazieren gehen. Für die Tagesausflüge muss man allerdings relativ weit fahren, aber die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen und lassen sich mit den Ausflügen prima verbinden. Markku war immer freundlich, gut zu erreichen und hatte viele gute Tipps für die Umgebung. Der Check In und Check Out sind sehr schnell und einfach. Die Hütte ist super gut ausgestattet, insbesondere was die Küche betrifft ist alles da was man zum Kochen oder Backen benötigt. Die Sauna und der Ofen sind natürlich ein Highlight. In einem Ordner ist alles sehr gut erklärt. Vor Ort kümmert sich Mikko bei Bedarf, auch er war sehr freundlich und schnell vor Ort als wir Probleme mit dem Türschloss hatten. Wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

Die Lage war so schön und ruhig. Man kann gleich um die Ecke eine schöne Winterwanderung machen. Wir haben uns einfach die Zeit genossen und entspannt. Immer wieder gerne vllt mal im Sommer:)

We enjoyed our stay. The location is beautiful, so peaceful and you can do cross country skiing just outside. We enjoyed the open fireplace and sauna.
