Great place! The homestay is erally great. Everythings works nice and the house is like you see in the pictures. My favorite part was the balcony that had an amazing view. Devdarshan and his family were really nice and were always checking in if things were okay. The kitchen is simple and could be more equipped, but I was able to cook nice things and, as I said It, it matches the photos and the description. It's a simple and nice place, close to the main road. If you looking for a nice, simple and calm place to stay in Gangtok, Bartola homestay is your place.

I booked for my mother a nd aunt . According to them inside ambience is clean . As senior citizen to take the stairs is not comfortable. inside the washroom anemities should be added according to price per day kitchen area : tea and coffee ☕ and dry snacks arrange should be more elaborate. Heaters are working effectively during this chiill weather . Nice cosy inside and neat Alll over Nice !!!

You HAVE to stay here if you’re in Yuksom. The place is pretty, quiet, and clean. It’s way better than it looks in the photos. The food is fantastic. Comfort, local, freshly made food. You have to try the meals in addition to the breakfast. Breakfast was unique and local, some rice item with eggs and a “cheese pickle”, which was very unique and tasty, I’m craving it now. Overall, amazing experience.
