Heloise’s beautiful cottage was an absolute dream. From the moment we stepped in the door and looked around we were blown away by how beautiful it is. Absolutely pristine everywhere and stunning interior design in every single room. You won’t want for anything during your stay as there is absolutely everything you’ll need and more! We were even gifted a hamper by the hosts which was incredibly kind. Outside the views are breathtaking, waking up there and watching the sun go down is a pretty special sight! So many incredible walks and things to discover in the area and also places to grab food! We were given more than enough info by the hosts about the area in their guest booklet but there’s so many books inside to help you plan your adventures should you want to. And there’s nothing better than having a day out and returning to the cottage! The perfect getaway and we can’t wait to return! :)))

October Cottage was absolutely delightful. From the moment we walked in we felt right at home. The furnishings and decor were just perfect. It was a real home from home and it was perfect for our 1st Christmas away as a family. Cathryn had really pulled out all the stops to make our stay comfortable, even setting the table for our Christmas Dinner. The location was very peaceful. We visited the local pub just down the road on our last night and the staff and food were lovely.

We had a fantastic time!! Danielle was so welcoming (thank you for the gifts, including the giant chocolate bar!) and we loved seeing the horses and chickens. The hottub was sufficiently very warm and had room for so many people (there were only 2 of us!) and the sauna was really lovely too. Beds were comfy and shower was very nice too. We’d definitely stay again. Recommend.

Had a really lovely stay. The place is absolutely stunning, the property is a great size and has everything you need. We booked for a wedding which was at a venue 10 mins away which was very convenient. My boys didn’t make the trip due to last minute commitments so it was me my daughter and trained Dobermann who I have to say was going spinny’s on arrival she loved all the space to play and a hill to wear her out. We will definitely be back - favourited. We even got to meet some puppies while there which were so adorable we very nearly left with one, if my daughter had her way 😆 thank you for a very relaxing and peaceful break.
