On the Island of Beauty, in Castagniccia, a green setting by the river: you will find a gîte "U Caseddu", with a heated pool. U Caseddu is 45 minutes from Corte, the starting point for beautiful walks in Restonica, the historic capital of Corsica, and, at the same time, the hometown of Pascal Paoli: Morosaglia. The village of Ponte-Novo, a hotspot of the Corsican resistance. Île Rousse is 1 hour away and Calvi is 1 hour 15 minutes from our cottage. Cap Corse and St Florence are 40 minutes away.

The accommodation has the authentic charm conferred by the wooden beams and old floors. Spacious and bright, its location in the heart of the mountains and 35 minutes from the sandy beaches (seaside resort of Moriani), forty-five minutes from Bastia Poretta airport, one hour from Corte, one hour from Bastia and Balagne, promises you beautiful hikes on the surrounding trails but also to easily explore the wonders of the island further.

Sheepfold tours are possible free of charge according to our availability. We also run a bar restaurant in the neighboring village where we offer cuisine made with our products and those of other producers in the region.
