Monthly Rentals in Petersham

Rodney has to be one of the most generous hosts we have stayed with. Our stay of almost three weeks was perfect in almost every possible way. And when we did have a few requests he addressed them quickly. The apartment is spacious and we had a lot of supplies in the fridge and in the kitchen cabinet. Rodney provided excellent toiletries and good quality bed linen. The bus stop is close by and there are several very good cafes and restaurants in the area. Coles is nearby, too. There are a couple of issues but they are clearly explained in the listing. One, is the lack of a lift (didn't bother us too much). Two, the sound of low-flying aeroplanes (some days were worse than others). But for us it was a superb stay with a host who is keen to make your stay comfortable.

We spent just over four weeks in Nikki’s lovely house. We felt right at home straight away and when our time came to an end we were very sad to leave. The house is very comfortable and extremely well-equipped! Everything you could possibly need has been provided in very generous quantities, making us feel like valued and welcomed guests! So different to a lot of places where the bare minimum is provided. You feel like you are in a real home, not just a money-making proposition. We absolutely loved being able to walk to so many wonderful restaurants and cafes and the best pub in Sydney! And of course the wonderful Petersham Bowling Club. It is such a great community, people are very friendly and actually say hello in the street! Public transport is so close and we could walk to the Norton Street cinema and take in the French Film Festival! Nikki is the best host ever! She always answers promptly and her warmth and generosity of spirit really shine through with every response.

I love staying at this great little AirBNB, i’ve stayed four times now and it’s so convenient when visiting family in Petersham. it’s a lovely little oasis but close to everything you need. Brothers Ben cafe next door is a gem! looking forward to coming back hopefully next year!

Robert's place is in a beautiful, walkable part of Sydney that is easy to navigate between other parts of the city either via public transit or car. Plenty of street parking, local restaurants and cafes, a Saturday / Sunday farmer's market. Robert put plenty of personal touches like fruit, chocolate, and pristinely clean linens to make the place more welcoming. Highly recommend staying here, would stay again!
