Refuge in the forest / La Bécassine

La Bécassine is a small wooden mini-house. Heated by a wood-burning stove, equipped for a stay in the forest. Running water (summer), drinking water container (winter), no electricity, lantern and candle light, butane stove for cooking, basic dishes and saucepan, bedding, double bed in the mezzanine, dry toilet outside. La Bécassine is a 5-7 minute walk to the parking lot. Beautiful brightness, nice view surrounded by trees. Quiet and stargazing.

The setting of the cabin is serene and free from every day distractions with amazing views of nature in all directions. Perfect for couples or small families who appreciate design, a quiet space or a romantic getaway. Guests also have access to the whole land which include a waterfall and numerous hiking trails connecting directly to the national park.

Fjord & Forest Getaway for Two

Intimate tiny house nestled in the middle of the forest, by a peaceful lake, ideal for a getaway for two. The only other chalet is about 100 metres away. Here, we slow down: silence, nature and shared moments. After days of exploring the region, we find ourselves in a cosy atmosphere, facing the water or under a starry sky. Warm, the mini-house offers comfort, privacy and an inspiring setting to reconnect, away from everyday life.

Yurt in the Forest of Whispers, Alfred's Neighbor

A 5-minute walk away, our yurts offer the most beautiful view of the Saguenay Fjord, very luxurious, they are equipped with a propane oven and fridge, 12 Volt solar power electricity, 22 liters of hot water per hour and shower. Bedding is provided as well as all cooking equipment. The yurt is equipped with a tank toilet, there are also outside dry pit toilets. Wood heating (wood provided) A real luxury campsite called GLAMPING.

The Chalet chez Dom, located in a quiet area, offers a magnificent view of the Petit-Saguenay River. Skiers will be delighted because the chalet is located near the Mont-Édouard ski resort and near the Les Sommets du Fjord ski area. Snowshoeing, hiking, snowmobiling, whale watching, fishing 🎣are some of the many activities to do. The cottage has a campfire area, BBQ and bread oven, large garage with ping pong table, etc.
