Family-friendly holiday rentals in Peyrat-le-Château

Place is good. Beautiful a river flowing through property private fibre boat which is unique. Lots of things to do.

For what was a budget friendly stay for us we were happy with the accommodation and it’s facilities. The hot tub was perfect to enjoy at any time of the day and was totally private. Our dog Merlin had plenty of space to explore the gardens and plenty of beautiful walks nearby. Although we were there out of season, there was still many things in the local area to do. We highly recommend visiting Chamberet to hire some electric bikes and tour the wonderful scenery. Seems to be lots of English in the area which meant many restaurants/places of interest had English speakers. Although not essential for us, it could be beneficial for future guests whom may struggle with the French language. We only had one negative to our experience and it was that the double bed wasn’t at all comfortable. Although, we appreciate for some, the hard spring mattress may be exactly what they like. Never the less, we spend the rest of our stay on the two single beds instead which were a little better for us.

Nous avons passé une semaine chez Daren et Bianka et avons vivement apprécié le lieu qui regorge d’activités ludiques sur place ( piscine, billard, baby-foot, tir à l’arc…). Notre fils de 9 ans a adoré. Le gîte est tout confort et très très bien équipé. On se sent comme à la maison. Le logement est bien situé pour visiter cette très jolie région. Bianka et Daren sont formidables ! Nous reviendrons et conseillerons ce super gîte autour de nous. Merci.

Great house for 2 families, perfect for what we wanted. Lots of seating areas, kitchen was really well equipped. Pool and hot tub awesome. Nearby lake is good for beach and water sports. Hosts were great and gave good recommendation for a food festival in a nearby town. The house is in a very peaceful location, surrounded by countryside, which was great most of the time but if you want restaurants or activities it’s a drive. I would recommend the house though as it’s really well set up for a week with friends or family.

Logement très bien situé dans Aubusson centre. On peut se deplacerca pieds et laisser sonbauto. Très bien équipé pour cuisiner. La literie est confortable. De la place devant le logement pour garer la voiture. Un bon séjour chez Valérie

Séjour de 15 jours extrêmement agréable, dans un environnement vraiment exceptionnel. Nous avons adoré ce jardin, qu'on a arpenté plusieurs fois par jour. A chaque fois nous faisions des découvertes! La proximité des animaux a été extra. Gîte situé à 7 kms du 1er commerce, donc pas de contraintes de ce côté. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter!

Nous sommes pour raison familial et connaissons bien le coin depuis des années, belle location et avec Béatrice nous avons beaucoup échangé par sms , Béatrice très réactive et sympathique

Aernoud’s house is stylish, warm and very relaxing. Very comfortable beds, good quality linen, beautiful toiletries and diffusers around the house. Kitchen is very well equipped and easy to use. We stayed in February so the wood burner was wonderful! The garden is well equipped and bathed in sunshine, we would love to go back in summertime. The cinema/games room was a lovely addition. There were 7 of us and we had lots of space to spread out and relax as a group or alone. The bakery is very good and there is a restaurant in the village although it wasn’t open when we stayed. We will definitely be back!

Nous avons passé un super séjour ! Roland et Joëlle sont des personnes super accueillante, et d'une grande gentillesse. Le chalet était parfait, un secteur calme, un paysage agréable et reposant. Nous garderons leur adresse pour de prochaines vacances en toutes tranquillité. je recommande !

Une maison très propre et avec un charme creusois tout à fait à l'image d'Arpeix , un lieu de repos. Un poêle à bois allumé à notre arrivée , une chaleur enivrante et une douceur des matériaux qui font du logement un cocoon chaleureux. Un cadre naturel à proximité et un calme juste agréable et sauvage à la fois ... Belle adresse

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine chez Laurence. Le gîte est très agréable, avec beaucoup de charme. Le logement est très propre, et bien agencé. L'extérieur est magnifique, au calme, avec de nombreux espaces pour s'installer et profiter du calme. La piscine et le trampoline ont régalé les enfants. Laurence est très agréable, toujours disponible, elle nous a partagé ses petites pépites sur la région. Séjour parfait!

Het huis, de molen, is erg mooi en staat in een prachtige omgeving! Het heeft 3 ruime slaapkamers, ideaal voor een gezin. Midden in het bos en het viaduct des farges staat letterlijk in de achtertuin. Je loopt vanuit de tuin zo het bos in. Accomodatie is erg privé, ook gelegen in een heel mooi, rustig gedeelte van Frankrijk. Eigenaren zijn heel erg vriendelijk. Goede communicatie en staan altijd meteen voor u klaar. Heerlijk zwembad! Wij hebben een fantastische week gehad.

We stayed at La Roseraie with our baby and parents and had a brilliant time. The house is extremely spacious and welcoming, the surroundings are beautiful and green and there are lots of outdoor activities (pool, ping pong table, bbq etc.). It is a dream home and we were so glad to call it ours for a few days! We look forward to booking again for next year.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le logement de Dominique. Le cadre est réellement idyllique, et le logement est très bien équipé. Les chambres ont toutes leur salle de bain, ce qui facilite la cohabitation pour un groupe comme le nôtre. A refaire !

La maison de Nicolas est un petit paradis😊 un havre de paix. Nous y avons séjourné en famille et tous avons été ravis, nous avons été guidé par Patrick qui est adorable et réactif pour toute demande. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

The location was convenient for walking into the little village of Cubjac with many surrounding towns within an hours drive. The kitchen had all of the amenities we needed which was perfect as we cooked most of our meals at the house. We also appreciated the charcoal grill. The property was absolutely stunning. We were in awe of the main house as we drove up the driveway. We enjoyed walking around the garden and on the trails in the surrounding woods. The bed was comfortable and the dining room, living room, and outdoor seating was perfect for 2 couples. The bathrooms were clean and the water pressure was good for showers. We did learn that you won’t get hot water if you try to shower while the dishwasher is running. 😂 Communication with Catherine and Maxence was great. They were always responsive and Maxence very insightfully helped us plan our itineraries for several day trips including markets, wineries, hikes, and gardens.

Excellent séjour chez Renata ! Encore mieux que sur les photos, la maison est bien équipée, magnifiques jardins et vu sur la vallée, belle piscine, salle de jeu le top pour les enfants ainsi que les jeux extérieurs (cabane, balançoire, hamac, ping-pong…) vraiment il y a tout ce qu’il faut ! Activités à proximité, château de Hautefort, grotte de Lascaux, accro branches…. Renata est une femme très sympathique, à l’écoute et compréhensive, je recommande sans hésiter!
