In the evening, you return to the log cabin, where a fire in the fireplace and a sauna await you. Kolilainen is a spacious, multi-level log house and a haven of peace where many would like to stay longer than planned. Many also come back here again and again, year after year. The house and its grounds are intended for a peaceful holiday, and the property is not suitable for party use.

A hidden gem by the pond, built in private seclusion on the tip of a headland by Vuorineuvos S.A. Tervo, offers a glimpse into history. This atmospheric, electrified cottage offers peace and quiet in the heart of nature, yet is only about 15 km from the amenities of the town of Nurmes (Bomba and Hyvärilä are about a 10-minute drive away). The shallow, fish-rich pond offers excellent recreational opportunities, and the surrounding area provides good mushroom and berry picking grounds. An idyllic destination for a family holiday in a cottage too!

Lieksa's jongun River is a wilderness cabin by a peaceful pond, in the middle of the cornice. Great berry picking, mushroom picking, fishing, and hunting grounds right at the cottage door (purse-lacla). The cottage has electricity. Nearby historical and hiking destinations include Rukajärventie, Änäkäinen, jongun river, bear trail, and recreational fishing and hiking area. ask for autumn weekends with a message, they are negotiable even though they are provisionally closed for your own use. No access to running water during freezing weather.

This is a perfect accommodation for guests interested in sports and exercise. 400 m to the ski slope and sledding slope, 5 km to Ukko-Koli ski slopes, a rich and diverse network of trails in the national park. Koli village services about 2.5 km. Next to the cottage, there are good fishing opportunities and sandy beaches within a short boat trip (rowing boat available). The beach is in its natural state, suitable for swimming and has clear water that deepens.

In the courtyard of the cottage, there are good downhill skiing opportunities, as well as a great setting for winter activities. However, city services are available a few kilometers away.

Rakentamaton rantaviiva jatkuu todella pitkälle ja vasta 500m päässä tulee vastaan camping alue.

Rentoudu koko perheen kanssa tässä rauhallisessa 120 m2 majapaikassa. Tämä majapaikka sijaitsee Lieksan keskustan tuntumassa ja vierestä kulkee junarata, joka ei kuitenkaan asumista häiritse. Vieressä on myös kapea joki, johon ei pääse pulahtamaan. Autokatokseen saa kaksi autoa suojaan ja pihalta lisäksi kotatulipaikalla varustettu valoisa ja suojaisa kesäkeittiö.
