Nearby historical and hiking destinations include Rukajärventie, Änäkäinen, jongun river, bear trail, and recreational fishing and hiking area. ask for autumn weekends with a message, they are negotiable even though they are provisionally closed for your own use. No access to running water during freezing weather.

Wooden sauna, masonry pot and shower in the steam room. Hand washbasin in the dressing room. The cottage has a balcony and a glazed porch.
