Cruising the Comrades, dipping the 'Duzi, Midmar'ing the Mile, Meandering the Midlands, Mandela'ing the Marathon, Royal'ing the Show, Biking the Mountain, or just passing through? Start, or end, (or both) your 'Maritzburg mission, in the quiet Quince Cottage, a renovated stable built in 1897, bordering the KZN National Botanical Garden. Humble, 'shabby-chic', in a beautiful, indigenous, leafy surround.
“This charming and unique cottage is definitely worth a stay! The cottage is cosy and has everything you could possibly want. Sue was kind enough to have made homemade muffins and had the basics in the fridge which meant you didn't even need to go to the shops! The best for me was that the property backs onto the Botanical Gardens, so I ended my day running through the park and being mesmerised by the magnificent trees and plants! This is a true gem of a place, if you are visiting Pietermaritzburg you should definitely stay here :)”
Bright, luxurious apartment set in the beautiful, quiet suburb of Clarendon in Pietermaritzburg. Minutes from town with various eateries, malls, spa's and other attractions a few minutes drive away. Beautiful pool available for use by guests. Ideal for parents visiting boarders at local schools, athletes competing in Comrades or Midmar Mile, or tourists exploring the beautiful Midlands!
“I recommend Andrew and Carla's place without hesitation and without reservation. It comfortably exceeded my expectations and will become my "home from home" whenever I am in Pietermaritzberg!”
A self catering flatlet, with modern styling and finishes
“We only stayed for one night but everything was perfect! Beautiful small flat, everything was clean and the communication went very well. Unfortunately we didn’t have the time to use the pool which looked very nice!”
