The Cabin - Spring Creek, Pennsylvania

A modern cabin on a half-acre with a refined rustic element. There are lots of amenities like a gas grill, arcade games, corn-hole, and more. Many people in our area would call this their “camp,” a place to sit by a campfire or curl up on the couch for a nap. The cabin has three bedrooms, a fully operational kitchen, and a full bathroom. In the winter you might need a AWD vehicle to reach the cabin because of the snow. Ask about walking access to the creek for April -August trout fishing

First floor has open living area/kitchen, with functional antique wood walk in cooler, 1/2 bath, bar and garage door which opens to deck. Many reclaimed materials used in construction including brick, doors for bar, etc. Upstairs was modeled after boutique hotel with king bed, full bath and picture window overlooking stocked pond and vintage fire truck. The house includes a fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom with a king bed, and a pullout sofa in the living room. A fire pit, firewood, and six Adirondack chairs are available for use in a private area behind the house. There is a large backyard with trails through the woods and around the field for guests to explore.

This cabin is a great place for a family getaway in the Allegheny National Forest. It is easy to access on the main road, but still gives you the feel of the forest. It sits and overlooks the Allegheny River channel, in the summer you can watch fire flies on the island behind the cabin while you listen to the toads and bullfrogs sing. The river channel provides many opportunities to see wildlife such as ducks, eagles, deer, beavers, river otters, turtles and much more.
