What a gem of a place. Everything is walkable Hopkins has my heart! Anything you need they live right on property and will help you out. Solo traveling no need to be concerned fun and very safe. Take a walk out back in the morning and have coffee. The bedroom has a beautiful view of the water ❤️

Great space with beautiful community pool. We saw wildlife too! Deer, gibnut, wild pig, rabbits and foxes! This would be a nice place to ride a bike through the community. One thing to note is the 3rd bedroom and bathroom is accessed outside below the main house. We had small children so we had to just use the 2 bedrooms in the main house. There are things needing repair. Especially the noisy AC in the master bedroom, and some door handles out to the verandas. It is a nice place but it could be even better with some attention.

Staying at Villa 13 at Seabird was a dream! The Airbnb looked exactly like the pictures and it felt as if though I was right at home! The host, Johan was very responsive, kind and accommodating! I enjoyed my stay and will be returning in a few months !

I stayed at this Airbnb before and let me tell you nothing change. It’s my home away from home very clean and well put together. Never disappoint it’s a beautiful home beautiful kitchen nice appliances, washer and dryer. You have your own parking space ,No need to park on the side of the street. Love love, love.

Had a fantastic 5-night stay at the Toucan Guest House. Comfortable, well-appointed house in an ideal location. It is close to both Cockscomb and Bocawina—two of our favorite jungle reserves—so we had no problem getting to both during prime early morning birding hours. It was even close to Hopkins for restaurants, groceries, and the beach. Hosts were fantastic. We highly recommend.

The Mellow Yellow was just what we needed for our stay in Hopkins! Our whole family loved how much space we had and the fenced in yard on the beach was a huge plus for our adventurous toddler and our dog. The place was spotless and had everything we could think of to give a “home away from home” feel. We will definitely book again!

We had a great one night stay in unit #24! Beth gave us a free upgrade and it appeared we were the very first guests in this new unit! Beth and Johan gave us an early check in and also lots of tips for dinner and more. The beds were comfortable and everything was sparkling clean. The setting was awesome on the water. We did not use the pool but the deck and view were really lovely. I would highly recommend this property and hosts! Thank you again!

We absolutely loved Sunset Gecko. It is perfectly located just off the main road so it's easy to get around, but still has a lot of privacy. The condo was absolutely gorgeous and totally exceeded our expectations. The staff and chef service were fantastic

There were 12 of us that stayed for about 6 nights. The staff was extremely accommodating and respectful. Brenda came every day to clean up/make our beds/and do our laundry. Manuel was our chef and did an amazing job. Even tho we came in the rainy season, we had full sun during most days. It was very well worth it and I’d recommend to anyone with a large group staying in Placencia :)

Great property with many options for multiple families/groups. We had a group of 18 and rented 3 houses, all just steps away from each other. The space has a perfectly small pool, nice deck area, and is so quiet. It was clean and looked exactly like the photos. We did not get daily maid service and every house in our group ran out of necessities (toilet paper). The water from the faucet is drinkable and the toilets can take toilet paper. The showers don't get super hot, but are soothing with hot weather. TV/wifi was easy to navigate and Beth was extremely responsive. The kitchen does not come stocked with any food/spices. Pick up salt,pepper, butter, oil if you intend to cook. I highly recommend you ask for a cook for some meals. A breakfast fed 16 people and was $150 usd (and delicious). Rent a golf cart & pay to have it dropped off and picked up. Lots of fun to be had in this house!

The Sunset Condo was great! the house was really really nice. I highly recommend renting the golf cart. You are about a 4 minute golf cart ride into town. The accommodations were perfect and the beach and the coolest tree I have seen on a beach were perfect.

Beautiful home, the amenities were great! My husband and I loved the outdoor shower on the third floor! The pool was clean and and temperature was perfect! The housekeeping service was a nice touch to really feeling like you are on vacation! We had three days of chef service, we love the breakfast but twice had to ask her to prepare lunch and leave it because we were out sightseeing and felt rush to get back. The first day at lunch she told us not to be late for dinner (6pm) as she had to ride an hour to get home. This was understandable but again we had to rush or ask her twice at dinner to leave which meant we had to clean up. The dishwasher was leaking, we had to put a towel down to catch the water as housekeeping and chef allowed it to settle on the floor. Otherwise, our family enjoyed the home and would visit again!

The condo was exactly as described and very, very nice. If there is a nicer place to stay on Placencia, we never saw it. I truly believe this is the nicest. Placencia itself is not what we expected at all. If you’re looking for a typical beach/resort experience like you would find in Mexico, Cayman Islands, or Jamaica this isn’t it. There are no large resorts here, and you are mixed in with the locals (who are extremely kind!) Don’t expect to spend time on the beach. There is quite a bit of trash and very limited beach. There are some hidden gems you must visit though! Mariposa was a favorite spot of ours to spend the day and eat/drink. Le Dolce Vite has amazing Italian food! The frozen banana drink there is so fresh! The four cheese dish was delicious! The Monkey River tour is definitely something to experience, the wildlife is abundant. The little village will feed you and you can find neat trinkets they made themselves. They rely entirely on fishing and tourism, so bring some money with you!

Beth's Seabird villa was perfect for our group of two families. We have plenty of space and the kids enjoyed the small pool at the home as well as the bigger community pool. We loved that we could be picked up for our snorkel tour right at our own private dock. We also loved the access to the Placencia Beach Club that is provided for staying at Seabird. The home has a great design and we really appreciated the air conditioning! The home was located close to the airport and a very short golf cart ride into town. Beth provided a very helpful list of suggestions for activities, restaurants and things to do making our vacation so much more enjoyable and rewarding. We highly recommend this home and we hope to be back.

Petite maison de plage propre avec tout le nécessaire à disposition : 1 pièce avec 2 lits doubles, 1 réfrigérateur, 1 table avec machine à café (et café inclus), 1 salle de bain. Il est possible de demander des serviettes de plage et d’avoir un ménage quotidien. Très facile d’accès. Janice est très gentille et vous proposera des activités (possibilité d’avoir un kayak de mer à disposition). Elle nous a également conseillé sur l’itinéraire à prendre pour notre destination d’après. Tous les principaux restaurants et services sont accessibles à pied, c’était un bonheur de se réveiller sous les cocotiers à la plage durant ce séjour. Il peut y avoir beaucoup de vent le soir mais on s’y habitue rapidement.

From the booking to the ending of our stay we loved it all. The listing is new to air b and b but based on a reputable management company (Shan is an outstanding representative representing Vacasa Management.) we decided to try it. We were so glad we did. It’s breath taking and fresh and modern. Kitchen ( very well stocked ) is amazing and the dining table and chairs are the heart of the home. Beds and linens top grade. Tall ceilings and the quality materials. Wifi and board games and puzzles and extras including kayaks and paddle boards. Covered open parking for golf cart. AC units in all rooms and work well, also lots of ceiling fans. Landscaping is beautiful. A quick 20 min golf cart ride to the Village. Pool supplied us with swimming, birdwatching, sunny skies and even have a pair of goggles for the pool. Outdoor loungers and sitting area. Sunsets and sunrises at 360 degrees on rooftop. Outdoor bq and outdoor dining table for 10. Concrete floors so I would suggest inside shoes.

Everything was as described and more. Pots and pans were good quality...not the usual scratched non stick that we've seen elsewhere. Spices and even some condiments were included. Everyone was very friendly and response from Dora was always quick. Bed and furnishings we're comfortable. Excellent stay!

This location was amazing the view , the snorkeling , everything was great about it.

We had a wonderful time at Judy’s guest house. The home was better than described, with each of the bedrooms set up as private apartments. We were able to unlock the connecting doors for a whole home feel, but everyone still had their privacy. The kitchens and bathrooms were clean and well appointed with thoughtful extras like coffee, filtered water and q-tips. There were bicycles, beach towels, and even a small cooler we could borrow. Great walkability to many local restaurants and shops. We would definitely recommend.

We will be back!!! Paradise!!!

Typically, I try to qualify a review somewhat so it's clear I'm not a paid or cyber reviewer. Really hard with Alux House--aka Belizean Retreat--which was pretty much faultless. Super clean, well-appointed, and easy, plenty of space inside for two of us and our diving stuff, nice outdoor space, great laundry room, amazingly well equipped kitchen, very helpful staff, spot on recommendations for local dining, etc., rental bikes well-maintained. Okay, the door lock mechanism was a bit finicky, and there's no direct ocean view. But you are two minutes from the water's edge on a lovely, leafy, and quiet side street, and three minutes from the heart of downtown. Just book it.

We had a great stay, would recommend!
