This is a little bit of heaven. If you're looking for somewhere to get away from everything (but still have enough to do), somewhere quiet (but still with lots going on) and somewhere that feels like a world away from stress and fuss (but still with Angoulême 30 minutes' drive away), you've found it. The house is spacious, warm and welcoming. There's everything you need (including a bottle of red when we arrived!) and restaurants and bars are less than 5 minutes' walk away. The dock at the back of the house on the river may be the best place ever to enjoy a coffee and watch the ducks or open a bottle in the evening. The best place we've found to de-stress. Love it.

it's the 2nd time we go there and everything is always perfect, whether it's the welcome or cleanliness everything is perfect! I highly recommend it.

The instructions left were clear and simple, the cleanliness as a whole was perfect, the shower and toilet was clean, the kitchen and its utensils were all clean, the accessibility close to the train station is really a plus, little surprise there is a small private courtyard outside I highly recommend it.

We spent two nights at the blue arrow. This former fisherman's hut by the water totally seduced us. Singing birds, disconnection, nature … A very good time.
