Located in the Ponderosa Basin between Oakhurst and Mariposa. Beautiful setting in Forrest of pine trees and oaks. Yosemite National Park close by. Not far is Bass lake as well. Enjoy the sounds of wild life and creek close by.
“Do yourself a favor and stay with Kelly and Nancy! We pulled in at night, in the middle of a snow storm, and they were incredibly kind to offer us home made soup. The space is full of vintage charm, with a large selection of DVDs to keep a family entertained. It's a smaller space and attached to their home, so not a good fit for a larger group or loud activities. But for a smaller family, it's the perfect cozy cabin to rest before/after a visit to Yosemite.”

“Hands down the nicest and cleanest airbnb I have ever stayed at (probably booked 10-15 different spaces over the past 5 years thus far). The location is really good for a day trip to Yosemite. Darrin is a really friendly bloke who will welcome you to his home and provide you with a great itinerary plans for a Yosemite day trip if you had no clue prior to visiting. His place is CLEAN, like literally the cleanest I have every stayed at. Akin to a 5 star hotel. He also provides a full continental breakfast for guests every morning. Trust me when I say you won't regret booking in to Darrin's home.”
Welcome to our minimalist tiny house 30 minutes (17.6 miles) from the South entrance of Yosemite! Our tiny house is parked next to our small home where my husband and I live in our beautiful town, Oakhurst, with our two rescue llamas. When you stay with us, you'll have the whole tiny house to yourself which features a "real" bathroom (hot shower, flushing toilet, and sink) as well as a downstairs bedroom with a queen bed all in a cozy farmhouse style.
“Our stay in Samantha's tiny house was lovely. First off, it was way warmer than I expected. With temperatures in the 30s outside at the time of visit, the idea of staying in a little cabin made me cold already. But it was surprisingly well warmed, posing no issue whatsoever. In fact, the whole tiny house was much cosier and better thought-out than I expected. Second, the idea of arriving in a small unknown cabin in the woods at night made my travel partner quite nervous. Samantha's thoughtful touches, nice little notes spread out around the house, and the four funny lamas sitting close by immediately diffused that tension and made her feel more comfortable. Finally, Samantha and her family were very respectful of our privacy, and we in fact did not even see each other ! But from the communication, to the thoughtful touches around the house, and the obvious effort to give us space, I can safely assume that they are kind and loving people. A big thanks for making this a very special stay. Oh, and sipping on a beer while having a staring contest with the lamas was one of the highlights of my stay :) See you next time !”
