The Old Kitchen is part of Garth Farm which has been in co-host Edward's family since the 1800s. Set against the side of Garth mountain it enjoys beautiful views by day and stunning skies by night. It is ideal for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers... The Old Kitchen is cosy and quirky, practical and unfussy: a single large space with sleeping area, small kitchen, dining and seating areas plus log burning stove. A shower room opens off the main space and there are French doors and a patio.

Step aboard The Toad, a beautifully restored 1921 GWR brake van (AKA Toad Wagon), once a vital part of post-war goods trains. If you want the sound of birdsong and farm animals and a completely rural experience, drive up the mountain road and join us at our smallholding where we have an abundance of wildlife. We have spent the past few years lovingly restoring the stonework, oak floors and beams, fitting a modern kitchen with reclaimed worktops and a shower room with handmade wooden unit. Private patio with your own access to the property and a lake to walk around, although wellies may be needed sometimes!

Jacob’s Den is the perfect getaway! Our pods are situated in the countryside on a quiet working farm and livery yard, yet is conveniently only minutes away from the M4. This contemporary, spacious pod sleeps up to 2 people with a king-size bed. With its own en-suite and heating, the pod also has a smart TV & DVD player, kettle, toaster, microwave and a fridge. Complimentary tea, coffee and sugar are also provided. This pod has full use to its very own private hot tub!
