We have our beautiful converted semi-detached beamed cottage set within a farmhouse courtyard. The house is surrounded by glorious rural views of North Wales set in a peaceful setting with horses and cows in our paddocks. Just 15 miles from Chester and within an hour’s drive from Snowdonia. It can comfortably sleep 3 adults or 2 adults plus 2 children. The property is fully equipped for your stay. We can provide a cot/high chair if needed too. A perfect base to explore North Wales & Chester.
“We had a wonderful stay in Helen's cottage. The space is beautiful (inside and out) with incredible views of the countryside - I especially loved watching the sun set across the fields. Inside, the place is stylish, decorated beautifully, with wonderful touches like a few breakfast items, a welcome book full of house instructions and many leaflets for things to do in the area. We cooked in the house for two nights and found everything we needed was available. The bed was SO comfy! Helen and her husband were very responsive to messages and it was lovely to meet them both. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to stay there again in the future.”
Garden Cottage sits in the middle of the rural village of Churton, on the border of England and Wales and just a mere 15 minutes south of the historic City of Chester. The sumptuously appointed accommodation is ideal for short breaks, trips to North Wales, Chester Races and Shrewsbury.
“Stuart’s house is beautiful, his listing stated a home from home and you get that and more. Everything you could need and it’s sparkling clean. Location for myself was perfect and with it being so close to Chester but far enough out to enjoy the peace and quiet. Stuart was very accommodating and the facilities were excellent - everything you would need.”
This is a newly refurbished cottage, which was originally a farm workers cottage, on a dairy farm. It’s quaint and very nicely finished. The log burner makes the sitting room very cosy. The cottage is attached to a stable block, and forms a u-shape of out-buildings, including our carpentry workshop. The main farmhouse is close by, but separate. We have large gardens, which guest are welcome to use, including a barbecue and pizza oven. Rural location, but close to lots of amenities.
“We had a fantastic short stay as a family of 4. The cottage is located off the road so it is peaceful and quiet but close enough to walk to a pub and to drive to all the local attractions. The extra touches and welcome gift were very much appreciated and the host went out of her way to offer advice or help if we needed it. The only thing we missed was a freezer compartment to freeze our ice packs for picnics, but the host froze them for our journey home. I would definitely recommend the cottage.”
