Beautiful country retreat with breathtaking views

A modern guest suite set in tranquil and spectacular surroundings. Lots of facilities including spa, swim spa, charcoal bbq, garden furniture all set on a large deck. A well equipped suite with everything you need. A comfortable double bed and pull out sofa bed for extra guests. A fully equipped kitchen including fridge freezer, microwave, oven and hob. All cutlery, plates, cups, pans etc. Tea and coffee also provided. Modern bathroom with shower. Towels, toilet roll, shower gel provided.

A private and peaceful Hot Tub area is available for your use. "Southwind" is a small rural property surrounded by farmland and other lifestyle blocks. We are 15 mins drive on sealed roads to amenities in both Mangawhai and Wellsford, 8 mins to the Te Arai surf beach turnoff and 12 minutes to the Te Arai Links course.

We are only 75mins drive north of Auckland, 10 mins off the number one highway. The cottage is built from beautiful untreated hardwoods set in a tranquil private spot, nestled on the edge of a regenerating native forest. The cottage is only a 2min walk down to the beautiful Kaipara Harbour. Our place is part of a 25 year old 300 acre organic permaculture farm, which we were instrumental in setting up as a working farm and village style subdivision.
