Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Portland Parish

Loved my stay here! It’s quite a big apartment with a separate bedroom. Verica and her daughter are very friendly and helpful whenever I had questions. The location is great, close to restaurants, bars etc. I felt safe, welcome and at home. Thanks!

The only few other details I'll add to my other Glowing review, (since I was fortunate enough to be able to extend and stay on both sides of the 'duplex' is that this is a perfect set up if traveling in a group, e.g. 2 couples who each have their own quarters. or 2 solo travelers who don't wish to share a room, etc. Super great setup with a little kitchenette with the coffee maker, and the Roshan range, where you can sizzle and sauté to your hearts content, cooking up hot meals with all of the bounteous local fruit and veg, and fresh carribean fishes. If you're extra lucky, you may get to try one of Cherise's brekkie dumplings. Can't say enough good things about this place... Go Go Go !!!

I really enjoyed my time at Kamali’s. Kamali was respectful of my privacy, but always available whenever I needed some guidance. The area is beautiful, lush, safe and quiet. And the studio is, as stated in the listing, absolutely charming.

I stayed for a couple weeks and loved my stay at AG’s apartment. Its cozy and has everything needed. I appreciated the comfortable bed and linens and the beautiful artwork everywhere. Its a very peaceful neighborhood, especially at night its so quiet. I spent a lot of time on the balcony listening to the circades. Mickie and AG are lovely people, I felt very at home and am looking forward to return soon!

This is my second time staying at this residence. I absolutely enjoy staying there. The service is amazing as well as a place being super clean. The owner is very friendly and the dog is super cute. I plan to stay here everytime I come to Jamaica 🥰💙

I had heard of Shotover Gardens before and had my eye on a visit for a long time, so I was pleased when my visit turned out to be just as lovely as I expected. Even though it was only a short stay, Derick was an excellent host with great communication and spot-on directions. I was only there for a one day stay, but I still found the time to enjoy the lovely lawns and the swimming pool. The road to get to Shotover is a little rough in some parts but a car can make it if you drive carefully and take your time. An SUV will have no problems at all. If you are in doubt, Derick's transport rate from Port Antonio is extremely reasonable and can be utilised.

Great location, walkable to restaurants close to town centre and beaches. Safe area to stay. Very friendly and responsive staff. On time and patient with requests. My family and I enjoyed having the spacious house and kitchen.

Great place for the price...beautiful scenic views and the property was clean and comfortable! Mr. Lee the on-site person is totally awesome! He gave us good food suggestions and made sure all our needs were met!!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Kingston! Especially if you want an authentic local feel for Kingston...check dis place!!! Nuff respect Courtney, look forward to next year!

I really had a great time staying at this location. Marsha was very friendly and responsive to all my inquiries. The house was clean, quiet and very peaceful. I was met by Mr. Ed who was extremely friendly, kind, helpful and just a great person. He made us feel right at home and was also very attentive to all our need. The view from the balcony was breathtaking and it was so peaceful to sit outside and watch the ships passing by. I will definitely be staying here again. Thank you very much Marsha and Mr. Ed.

The open air floor plan was great ad the staff was attentive. Good value and the perfect spot for my elderly parents and young children to vacation together.

The real thing! This place is awesome. Placement is just perfect, neigbourhood is safe and chill and the home is welcoming and cozy. Samuel is a great host! Kept good care of me, always asked if everything is good, provided what I needed, showed me around the city and I got to see more than a normal tourist would. Man felt like a big brother taking care! This is a go to place if u around Port Antonio! No complains, only compliments!

Oneil’s place was great value for money and was well located and very safe. ! The property was super clean with modern amenities! I would recommend this location to visitors and will definitely return to stay there when I’m in Kingston!

My husband and I stayed here for his birthday and our anniversary! The location is perfect and walking distance to so much. Our family stays close by and we were able to visit with them as well and spend time with them. Suzanne has an amazing spot. It was super clean. Stocked with everything we needed. And made us feel relaxed and at home. We will be returning to Jamaica very soon and we will always choose to stay with Suzanne! Thanks again! Ps. John crows fried chicken across the street is TO. The stay at the Airbnb was one of the best parts of being in Kingston. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive. The space was spotless, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The bed was super comfy, the Wi-Fi was strong (perfect for working remotely or streaming), and the air conditioning was a lifesaver in the Jamaican heat. What really made the stay stand out, though, was the peaceful atmosphere and the sense of security. The location was perfect, close enough to all the cultural hotspots, restaurants, and nightlife, but tucked away just enough to enjoy some quiet when I needed it. Whether you’re visiting for business or pleasure, I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Kingston! 🙌🏾

For those of you who’re looking for a tranquil getaway, this is it. Easily accessible. Great food choices close by. Serenity/tranquility that’s felt every time you gaze at the spectacular view accompanied by the calming sea breeze. The environment is extremely peaceful and quiet aside from the constant sounds of the waves and sea breeze . But even that added to some of the most relaxing rest we’ve had in awhile. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay which aided in a lasting laid back atmosphere. The beach on the compound is more like a shoreline but, that can be substituted with any of the nearby beaches or you can make do with the pool. Would definitely visit again !!

I had an excellent stay at this modern Airbnb! The space was exceptionally clean, stylish, and thoughtfully designed—everything felt fresh and welcoming. The host was incredibly accommodating, courteous, and always responsive, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. The neighborhood was also very quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing stay. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and the warm hospitality. Columbus Heights never disappoints the views from this location was very beautiful no matter day or night . Bonnie was always just a text away when we needed to ask a question or had a concern . This is a bottom level air bnb located right next to the main walk way to other family’s condos so you must remember everyone stops and has a chat and visit as they pass you while sitting on your deck as Jamaica is full of friendly people. It can get a little loud in the evenings as some of the locals do play music into the evening but with that being said we go to bed early . This air bnb won’t disappoint you it’s fully equipped with more than you need for a long or short stay as we stayed a month . Very comfortable and felt safe at all times . Thank you Bonnie for allowing us to stay at your place hope to return back soon .

This was my second time staying here at Sue Yuen's airbnb and it really felt like being at my 2nd home. The place was EXACTLY the same as last year and still looks exactly like the pictures. I love that the building has 24/7 security at the gate so I know I'm very secure. The apt is spacious and clean. I was able to order my groceries and KFC to be delivered with ease. I took my Uber to the Knutsford Station the morning of check out so I didn't miss one amenity from the US. LOL I'm really so thankful for Sue Yuen always being a gracious host!! Hopefully it won't take me a year to come back through.

Denise's place is the best place to stay in Cedar Grove. It is walking distance to a small mall and public transportation. The apartment is perfect. Top notch security system in place so you can sleep well. 10/10 I would recommend.
