Holiday rentals in Porto Novo

We had a great time at this place! Warm welcome, beautiful and peaceful environment, nearby beach, comfortable accommodation with a beautiful terrace on which it was very nice to have the breakfasts that were brought to us every morning (be sure to specify this option beforehand with the host)... Paradise!! Two small points of attention, however, if you plan to stay: - Without a car, access is probably difficult because, as mentioned in other reviews, the listing is at the end of a long sandy/stone path and outside downtown Porto Novo - Don't rely too much on WiFi which is quite random 😅😉 Still, we recommend without so much as a second thought!! We wish we had stayed a little longer!! Thank you so much for hosting us 😊

We would like to give more than 5 stars!!! The apartment is very nice and functional, with many loving details. The kitchen is very well equipped, we found everything to cook complex menus. The hit of the apartment: the open kitchen facing the valley! We loved sitting at the counter in the kitchen and looking into the beautiful landscape, watching the local people in their field work, marveling at the changing sky.... Katia more than deserved her Superhost status, we got a lot of very helpful tips from her, she helped us organize transportation with the collective taxis, gave us her own bananas (was a bit difficult to get fruits in town, we found it in Pombas). Thanks to their insider tips, we were able to quickly settle into this first alien world. She was very present as a point of contact, always responded very quickly to questions. Thank you!!!!!

Albertina is a retired professional. She loves kids more than herself. She takes care of children without parents, kids with sick parents, kids whose cannot afford or able to take care of. She doesn’t discriminate against either child! Her staffs are the same. Besides the fact that her place is extremely clean and comfortable, stay here and help save a child. Some say it’s difficult to find, it’s not hard at all. It’s a 5 minutes drive from the port. Give the cab driver her phone number, and she’ll direct them if they never been there. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

Beautiful house ,near a very good restaurant. Lola was lovely and had some great tips . This corner of the island is beautiful.

A perfect stay by the sea! We had an absolutely wonderful stay in this property. Upon arrival, we were greeted with rare kindness by our hosts, who did everything to make us feel at home. Their hospitality and kindness made our experience even more enjoyable. The accommodation is in a great location, offering quick access to the sea and close proximity to hosts. Thanks to our hosts' valuable tips, we discovered exceptional local restaurants and beautiful routes, off the beaten path. They even put us in touch with passionate locals, which enriched our stay with authentic exchanges. The place itself was spotless, comfortable and perfectly equipped, with attention to detail that shows how much our hosts want to offer the best experience possible. Great place in Porto Novo, can walk to the port and other surrounding areas. only stayed for 2 nights but everything was great!

Unforgettable stay in this lovely haven. The beautiful house is located by the sea with a lovely pool as in the photos. Not only the house and very pleasant but Anny is a very welcoming person, in sharing and human experience. She also has a good network/knowledge and a small team to make the stay easier (drivers to take you and pick you up from the departure/arrival points of the different hikes; evening meals prepared by Isa, Verdian cape for a maudique sum and excellent, much better than at the restaurant). I travel a lot and can assure you that I have rarely met such hospitality and this range of service without forcing. I leave with great memories and new friends! Thank you again!

We spent 10 days at Carlos's place. The village of Eito is very pleasant as well as the people who live there. Carlos will be very responsive if you have any worries. The house has everything you need for a good holiday. Feel free to discover this beautiful village and participate in the Sunday night parties.
