Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Porto Novo

We stayed in this lovely house in the middle of the village for 8 people for 4 days. All rooms are very nice and with lots of charm. The sea view is beautiful. The locals are very welcoming, including Gabi and Veronica who managed our welcome on site. We ate at Veronica's restaurant every night, her cuisine is excellent and she took care to vary the meals (there is very little in the grocery stores to cook on site). We had a driver during our 4 days who was able to recommend nice hikes and booked us our lunchtime meals. We lacked soap and shower towels, but nothing too bad for us. If you want to be exotic and immersed in Cape Verde, Odile's is the place to go. We loved it!

Liliana is a very heartwarming host, quick to respond to your questions and helpfull in aiding your trip around Saõ Vicente. Couldn’t have wished for more. About the appartment. It is located right on the sea board. A beautiful and tranquil place to enjoy the ocean, read a book and at night you have an amazong view of the stars. There’s a garden with a lot of shade and place to relax. Right next door there’s a small turtle sanctuary and you can make a roundtrip by foot around the vulcano. So enough to do for everyone. Inside the appartment is very clean, tidy en cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Charming and quiet house, matches the photos. Sandra prepared a typical meal for us twice, very good. She also holds a gazebo next to the church with drinks and food. 2 small grocery stores in the village and a distributor (ATM). Village quite central for all excursions with aluguer.

Great location if your plan is to discover the island through the walking/bike paths while being surrounded by nature! Renting a car is strongly recommended for ease of accessibility.

Evaristo personally welcomed us to his beautiful and spacious beach house. From the upper floor we had wonderful views of the beach, the sea and Santo Antão from both the room and the outdoor kitchen/lounge. Within walking distance there are a few mini-mercados where the essentials are available. Except for a few day guests at the beach and restaurant Chez Zoe, there are hardly any tourists. The locals are kind and authentic. The connection with Aluguers to Mindelo works great (frequent connections) and is a great experience every time. Baia das Gatas can also be reached with a little luck and negotiation skills with Aluguers. Evaristo also gave us very good contacts via which we could organize excursions for a boat tour or for snorkeling directly from Salamanca.

We had the very best time staying at this Airbnb in Mindelo! The place was spotlessly clean, sensibly furnished and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect – central but still quiet – and we were able to easily get to many attractions, restaurants and beaches by bus. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, communication went smoothly. We particularly appreciated the little touches that made the stay particularly pleasant. We will definitely be back and can fully recommend this place.

Sevilha’s family house is an amazing nest to explore Santo Antao. Very easy to reach from Porto Novo and within a few minutes walk from the cute town and seaside restaurants. The house itself is very modern and comfortable at the same time as being very charming. A cozy and private base to relax and enjoy a dive in the pool after exploring the incredible coastline and valleys of Paul. Sevilha’s responsiveness and assistance for anything all along my stay, as well as the top service from Gida, made the whole experience extremely smooth. One of the best airbnb I have stayed at and I can’t wait to return for a longer time :)

Fantastic stay with amazing views The apartment was in perfect condition, very clean and well cared for. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom spacious and the spectacular views. Communication with Gabriele and his team was excellent. They were always attentive and everything I asked for was provided with taste and very good predisposition. As an improvement, it would be helpful to have a clothes rack and a washing machine. Also, the WiFi sometimes doesn't work well. The place is somewhat far from downtown, so it is necessary to move by taxi. Even so, the experience was very good and I would definitely come back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐½ (4.5/5)

The accommodation is very spacious and bright. Easy to access with shops close to 1 km to the beach. Access to the city center is easy with buses that pass regularly. Recommended

Our stay was in a word great, it is a beautiful penthouse with sea views just outside Mindelo. The host Tânia with her buddy Pery literally constantly stood by for us, very nice to be received so hospitably. Mindelo is about a 30-minute walk away, but they make sure that someone is constantly ready to bring you, they also arrange nice trips for you like swimming with turtles. We have never felt so at home on holiday, so a super recommended, a thousand thanks to Pery and Tânia, you are great!

Honoria is a lovely woman and a perfect hostess. She wants to help with everything and even left me some nice Catchupa when I told her I loved this typical Cape Verdean food. The apartment was bigger than I thought it was. Clean and quiet. Perfect location near Laginha Beach. I would definitely stay there on my next visit.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was spotless and tastefully decorated. The modern design, great amenities, and stunning view of the bay made it special. Everything was well thought out, and we appreciated the bottles of water on arrival. Communication with Maurits was excellent. He was very helpful, arranging a rental car, giving us tips for activities, and even driving us to the airport. He always responded quickly and was super friendly. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

I am not sure there could be a more perfect AirBNB in Paul. This place was everything was right out of a dream and we live in Cabo Verde. The owner, the staff, everyone is so friendly, and as someone who is not at all a foodie - I have to say that the vegan breakfast was off the charts. I stayed with my teenage son and we felt right at home. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful, I can't thank the staff enough. We will be back very soon!

The Airbnb stay was absolutely amazing from the location being so close to the beach to having a well equipped gym inside the building along with a great restaurant. I would definitely come back to this location again I mean, I literally was scheduled for Zumba at the gym. It was super dope and I would definitely revisit this Airbnb location again. The walk to the beach is very short however, if you would like to take a taxi you can, but I walked after the first day towards the beach and beyond the beach area for food and everything.

nice, spacious and clean stay. you have no locked feeling due to the many light inside and the balconies available. Everything you need is available. you walk to the beach in no time. If you want to explore the area, you can get on the bus that stops in front of the door or grab a taxi. Plenty to do in the area: restaurants, playground, museum and the city center can be reached within 5 minutes by taxi. + clean + friendly and helpful + security available + lively environment + supermarket nearby - high stairs to get to the apartment building. (There is an elevator in the building itself. Would get a key to be able to take the elevator downstairs via garage due to the stroller. In the end, it was not necessary. - can be heard a lot of wind in the house on windy days. solved with a cloth for the grate so it could no longer be heard in the house - balcony doors couldn't be locked (no problem was 8 high)
