Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Poseidonia

Η κυρία Μαίρη ήταν καταπληκτική και μας βοήθησε με την άφιξη αλλά και την αποχώρηση, όπως επίσης και με οδηγίες για την διαμονή μας, αρκετά φιλική, γενικά ήταν μια πολύ καλή εμπειρία, το σπίτι κάλυπτε όλες μας τις ανάγκες

La maison de Graciela est très sympa et très bien décorée. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans ce lieu authentique. Un plus avec la piscine très appréciable quand la chaleur est au rdv. Lieu à recommander même si l’environnement n’est pas celui que l’on peut attendre dans une île des Cyclades. Nous pourrions facilement revenir chez Graciela ! Et merci pour l’accueil.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist wenige Kilometer von der Chora/Hafen entfernt und in der Nähe der Strände im Osten der Insel. Man hat vom Balkon aus einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf das Meer und die Berge. Abends sieht man das beleuchtete Mykonos. Wir haben nach der Ankunft auf Tinos ein Auto gemietet und sind zur Unterkunft gefahren. Dort kann man auch direkt vor dem Haus parken. Es ist sehr empfohlen ein Auto (vor dem Checkin) zu mieten und dieses nach dem Checkout abzugeben. Die Wohnung war sauber, hatte ordentliche Fenster und Türen mit lichtdichten Rolläden. Das Bad ist groß und sauber. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und es gab viel Platz. Leider füttern manche Gäste in dem Haus die Katzen aus dem Viertel. Das führt dazu, dass viele Katzen durchgehend auf den Balkon kommen und aufdringlich um Essen betteln und versuchen in das Haus zu gelangen. Es wäre sinnvoll, die Gäste anzuweisen, Katzen nicht zu füttern. Vielen Dank Eleftherios! Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Louis & Thanos's place was lovely and just like described. They were really proactive in their communication and helpfull in their tips for restaurants and beaches. Thanos was there to greet us and showed us around when we arrived. There were also two beaches just next to the house, one rocky with lot of fish and other with sand. They even provided beach umbrellas and diving masks and kids beach toys. Travelling with a kid and family the set-up with two "separate" apartments with us downstairs with out 3 year old was really handy as then everyone didn't have to wake up at 6 o'clock. We couldn't have expect for a better experience!

Virkelig skøn lejlighed og udsigten var bedre end billederne viste. Dimos var sød og svarede altid hurtigt. Lejligheden ligger tæt på stranden og byen. Lejligheden kan klart anbefales!

Πολύ όμορφο σπίτι σε ήσυχο περιβάλλον με θέα. Μπορείς να μείνεις στο σπίτι με την παρέα ή να κάνεις βόλτες στα φανταστικά χωριά τριγύρω. Η πιο κοντινή παραλία είναι 15 λεπτά με το αυτοκίνητο. Διαθέτει τα πάντα από εξοπλισμό, μέχρι και κάβα. Έχει 4 μπάνια, που είναι πολύ βολικό για μεγάλες παρέες. Ωραία σαλόνια και άνετα κρεββάτια.

Location was a bit off the grid in the mountain so you would definitely need a car. However, it’s definitely worth it for the beautiful garden, peace and quiet, amazing views to the ocean and other islands. Host was quite responsive when asked about directions to location, check in and checkout procedure. We stayed a total of 9 days and enjoyed ourselves tremendously doing some hiking, beaches and sightseeing. Cats were an adorable addition, we got quite close to 3 of the kittens which followed us around the compound. Definitely check out some of the recommendations the host listed - Santa Margarita beach was one of the best we had in Tinos, quiet and calm during less windy days, Tereza in Myrsini, bread from a bakery in Mesi and simple groceries in Steni.

Excellent séjour chez Marios. Annonce correspond bien à la réalité. Marios est très réactif, l’accueil est plein d’attentions, celles qui apportent un gros plus au séjour ( frigo rempli, pain, fruits,bouteille d’eau etc..). Par ailleurs Marios vous recommande les bonnes adresses. Il faut juste ne pas être surpris lors de votre 1 ère arrivée, la descente est impressionnante mais ça le fait! En conclusion, une belle adresse.

Επισκεφτήκαμε τον υπέροχο αυτόν περιστεριώνα στις 10 με 13 Αυγούστου. Την ημέρα πριν την άφιξη μας επικοινώνησε μαζί μου η γλυκύτατη Έλενα να μας ρωτήσει τι ώρα θα φτάσουμε στο κατάλυμα και να μας δώσει οδηγίες για να έχουμε εύκολη πρόσβαση στον χώρο. Εκεί μας περίμενε να μας ξεναγήσει ο ευγενέστατος πεθερός της, κ. Μάνος, ο οποίος μας έδειξε το σπίτι. Ήμασταν 4 άτομα, άνετοι μέσα στον χώρο και εννοείται η αγαπημένη μας στιγμή ήταν το καφεδάκι μας στον εξωτερικό χώρο του σπιτιού. Το σπίτι ήταν μινιμαλ, δροσερό, σκιερό και πεντακάθαρο. Είναι 7’ με το αμάξι από την χώρα και πολύ κοντά στην παραλία του Αγίου Φωκά! Εκτιμήσαμε πολύ το γεγονός ότι η Έλενα την επόμενη μέρα ήρθε και μας άλλαξε σεντόνια. Σίγουρα θα ξανά επισκεφτούμε το νησί και εννοείται τον περιστεριώνα αυτόν που μας έκανε να νιώσουμε σαν στο σπίτι μας!

I loved staying at Apik's place! I went there to write my book, and the peace and quiet helped me accomplish my goal. The view was stunning and the cottage itself was charming. Katerina and Apik were super helpful while I was there too, making it feel like I was staying with family. I would definitely come back to stay again.

L appartamento è super, una casa comodissima x vivere, è pieno di luce, con due terrazzini dove fare colazione, la vista sul mare e sulle isole intorno straordinaria, non potevo sperare di più , era ciò che volevo. Bisogna solo essere disposti a fare due piani di scale , ma Nikoletta ti aiuta x le valige. Lei è gentilissima , sempre pronta a rispondere alle tue esigenze e a darti informazioni. Ci ha accolto con dei dolcetti squisiti fatti dalla mamma. È possibile andare in centro anche a piedi , oppure con il bus, c è la fermata molto vicina. Ci tornerò sicuramente ma x un periodo più lungo ! Assolutamente raccomandato. Grazie Nikoletta!

Πολύ όμορφο και καθαρό σπίτι κοντά στη χώρα με υπέροχη βεράντα. Η κ. Ευγενία ηταν εκεί για ο,τι τη χρειαστήκαμε και η φιλοξενία της ηταν άψογη! Το προτείνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα

Corina and staff were very accommodating. They spent a lot of time with us upon arrival explaining places to explore, including beaches, restaurants and bars. The resort is pristine and nothing was too much to ask of . I highly recommend this place to stay.

Ioannis was a strikingly helpful and engaged host. He picked me up from the port and was available if any small thing required any sort of attention. He was kind and generous. The flat is very nice, well equipped and very close to a gorgeous beach. Great balcony and view too. I went out of season, I wanted quiet and I got it. I would imagine that Agios Sostis comes to life later in May but when I was there there were no Taverna's available and only one small shop. If you have a car none of that matters, it is 10 minutes into Chora. It is a beautiful island. Classically Greek; picturesque, relaxed and warm.

I’ve been using Airbnb for at least ten years and this was honestly the best stay we have ever had. Such a beautiful location, waking up to the sea every morning was so great for the soul. Walking down to the beach every day for swimming and smoothies also so lovely. The apartment is so well designed and felt fresh and minimal yet with everything you need. The stand out feature of our stay was the feeling of generosity though.. so many treats on arrival, daily cleaning included, beautiful and holistic bathroom goodies restocked every moment, a wealth of knowledge and helpful tips shared on arrival, new water bottles every day.. at the majority of places we stay on Airbnb they say they are luxury but this feeling is not there.. this is true 5 star service and we appreciated it so much.. the difference it makes to how you feel is priceless. We are so grateful for this stay and look forward to returning as soon as we can! I had ten places to choose from in Tinos, so happy I chose this!

Definitely lived up to our expectations! The house was exactly as shown in the photos: stunning! The location is also amazing and Nefeli is one of the best hosts! Great option if you want to be close to Chora and also explore the nearby villages! 100% recommended!

If I were to use one word to sum up our experience at George's, it would be "kismet". As our first time visitors, our idea was to stay in the Ano Syros/Ermoupolis area. However after a few days, we decided to move on to the South part of the island and that's when our vacation truly began. George welcomed us into his home as if we were longtime friends. He brought us local fruits, honeys, jams, pastries and wine, enough to keep us well fed for days. As a native, he was full of ideas and suggestions of were to eat, shop and visit. Next, I cannot tell you how magical his home is. Not only do you feel it, it is a fact that his home is in the most perfect location in all of Syros. The jaw dropping view, weather, calmness is unmatched and after 2 weeks and visiting every part of the island, I can say this with confidence. Often we would spend the entire day out on the deck soaking up the sun and the view in this beautiful and well appointed home. By far our best AIRBNB experience ever!

What a beautiful villa! The pool was fantastic, and the views were priceless. We had everything we needed and more. Every detail was thought out perfectly. Kameliya was so friendly, responsive, helpful, and proactive in tending to our needs. She spoiled us with ice cream, cold waters, and espresso cups upon arrival, and had a box of hand me down toys to engage the kiddos. All 8 of us slept comfortably with plenty of AC units on both floors. We used the laundry/wash machine once, and it worked great. Also, the restaurant/tavern Kameliya recommended was exceptional. We didn’t want to leave and hope to return.

A really cosy house in a great location! Amazing balcony with two sections (one with a sofa and coffee table, one with a dining table and chairs). Great view! Also, The village is very nice and has a traditional tavern in a big square. Also, the village is very close to all the amazing villages of the island. Highly recommended!

Gorgeous and exactly like the photos. The one thing to be aware of is its location in a remote area on the mountains — not a bad drive, but make sure you’re renting a car and prepared to make a bit of a drive to and from the villa and your destinations. Jenny, Alexia’s local friend, will meet you at the port and guide you to the villa so you’ll know exactly where to go. The design is perfect and we didn’t want to leave!

My family and I had a truly wonderful stay at Arthur’s house. The outdoor patios are perfect for any time of the day—whether it’s breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just drinks. We always found the ideal spot to relax, enjoy the view, and soak in the atmosphere. The house is spacious and has a quaint, pleasant charm that exceeded our expectations. The pictures (as of August 2024) don’t quite capture just how special this place is. We also loved the warm hospitality of the kind person who came every morning to care for the house and prepared a delicious Greek coffee. It was a great experience, and we would be very happy to return to Syros and stay at Arthur’s house again.

We were thoroughly impressed with the villa. It was completely as described and provided everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The villa was very well presented, extremely modern, everything was in good condition and worked. The view from the villa was awesome and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on anyone of the four terraces gazing at the view or enjoying the sunset. The villa is well positioned to access a wide range of facilities such as bakery, supermarket, butchers or vegetable shop and excellent restaurants. Many very good beaches were also close by. Andreas the manager of the villa was excellent to deal with, he was proactive and extremely prompt to respond. I would say a car is essential to make the most of the villa and the island. I also agree with a previous reviewer who suggested that good driving skills are helpful. All in all we totally recommend a stay in the villa and would definitely return.
