Our family really enjoyed our stay at Lassiter's (Dixie) place. I really appreciated the attention to detail that was given to make this place feel like the hosts really care about their guests experience, and having so many items available for use that are often forgotten by those that travel. I also enjoyed reading one of the books that were available and sitting in the back porch drinking my coffee. It had plenty of room for our family of five. I would have probably enjoyed using the fire pit in the backyard, but we came back late after visiting friends. Our kids really loved playing hide n seek in all the fun places around the home. Thanks again and will look forward to a future stay when we are in the area again.

An Unforgettable Rustic Escape in Okmulgee. We had the absolute best rustic experience staying at a charming cabin in Okmulgee! From the moment we arrived, everything felt serene and magical. The property featured a cozy firepit perfect for evening chats, an outdoor shower that let us truly connect with nature, and a compost toilet that blended sustainability with comfort. The views of the nearby lake were absolutely breathtaking, and to top it all off, there was an abandoned (and haunted!) church nearby that added a sense of adventure to our stay. What truly set this experience apart were the incredible hosts. They welcomed us with homemade coffee cake that was absolutely delicious—such a warm and thoughtful touch after our long 7-hour drive. They even went out of their way to pick up a pizza for us after we arrived, which meant the world to us after a day on the road. Their hospitality was beyond anything we've ever experienced — they made us feel like family.
