Stay in a listed building with storks! You are renting an entire house with approx. 175 m² of living space and a 400 m² garden. The stork village of Rühstädt in the Prignitz invites you to go hiking, cycling, relax and watch animals. The so-called Kossätenhof is the only listed private building in Rühstädt, with a residential house, former stables and a barn. Two pairs of storks with five young storks are currently nesting in the barn (June 2026)! Places with historic town centres, such as Perleberg, are easy to reach.

Clay plaster on the walls and the wood-burning stove guarantee an excellent indoor climate, and the walk to the wood-fired sauna promises absolute relaxation!

In the natural garden you will find inviting seating, loungers, and barbecue facilities, and a private sauna from September 2026. Please note: The house is not suitable for people strongly allergic to cats.

Unfortunately, our farm is not suitable for excessive parties. Our house was built around 1850. The house & barn of the listed 3-sided courtyard are built in oak half-timbering. There are 10 wedding linden trees around the house. In November, when the lime trees are pruned, the house can be seen in all its splendor. From May onwards, it slowly disappears behind shady foliage, and so remains wonderfully cool throughout the summer...

Our lovingly furnished apartment is the ideal place to escape the everyday and simply unwind. "Prignitz is a privilege for some and a pampa for others" The property is 5.3 ha. In January 2021, a large part was forested with about 9,000 young deciduous trees and fenced with a game fence.
