Birken Cottage – Holidays at the Herbsthausen Sawmill

Our three one-room apartments — Ahorn, Linde, and Birke — combine the historic charm of Herbsthausen with contemporary design. Each apartment is completely unique and has been modernized by us. They offer space for two to three people each. The apartments are part of “Herbsthausen”, an cultural project in the town of Gartow. We are renovating a historic sawmill and transforming it into a future-oriented place for art, industrial heritage, living, working, international exchange, and relaxation.

From the apartment to the nearest swimming facility in Lake Schwerin, it takes 3 minutes on foot... to the castle you can reach on a beautiful shore path in 20 minutes and the city center is not much further. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful... there is a small forest within a 3-minute walk. The apartment is cozy and spacious (120 square meters)... there is also a second toilet (not pictured).You have a terrace and can barbecue in the garden. Heating/hot water are guaranteed.

Mit der Fahrradfähre seid ihr in 5 Minuten auf der anderen Elbseite von wo aus euch ein angenehm befahrbarer Radweg immer den Fluss entlang führt. P.s. The Rooms with a View apartment sits with unobstructed views of the Havel River and Naturpark Westhavelland, a nature reserve and bird sanctuary. The 45m² apartment sleeps three comfortably, the two front rooms have windows overlooking the river, and the entire apartment is decorated with original artwork, including handmade quilts and hand-knotted rugs. Holiday apartment "Gardenview" at the gates of Schwerin

In front of the doors of Schwerin lies our over 100-year-old house with adjoining new building with two individually designed apartments. The "Gardenview" is suitable for both business travelers and individual travelers. Located on the 1st floor, it offers a light-flooded living space with a king-size bed, desk and small dining area with high chairs. An adjoining kitchen, as well as a separate shower room complete the apartment with garden view.

You can expect a cozy apartment with a large living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a separate bedroom and a small bathroom. The cozy location in the yard provides peace and relaxation, and you will find shops and gastronomy in the immediate vicinity. Here you will find ideal conditions for extensive cycling tours in nature along the Elbe.

Unfortunately, our farm is not suitable for excessive parties. Our house was built around 1850. The house & barn of the listed 3-sided courtyard are built in oak half-timbering. There are 10 wedding linden trees around the house. In November, when the lime trees are pruned, the house can be seen in all its splendor. From May onwards, it slowly disappears behind shady foliage, and so remains wonderfully cool throughout the summer... 

Apartment, Projekthof Mannaz, Nature, Hofsauna

Accommodation of the star park. Our 1-room apartment is located in a converted barn on our Mannaz project farm. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, a 140x200 bed, a dining area for two people and a private lovingly designed bathroom. Offers such as horse-based therapy, drum journeys, ceremonies, woodwork (...), sauna use and food can be booked at an additional cost. Live your change 🦋

Quiet apartment in Malchow

We rent a cozy 40 sqm apartment on the western outskirts of Malchow (Meckl.). It is an ideal base for exploring the Mecklenburg Lake District. For this purpose, two 28-inch bicycles with coaster brakes are also available if needed. Shopping and sports facilities, a cinema and a swimming area are 300 meters away. There is currently still a daily tourist tax of 1.50/2.00 euros per person.

Close to the Elbe: Spacious 2-room city apartment

Comfortable, spacious, lovingly furnished 2-room vacation apartment in Wittenberge. Centrally located and just a 5-minute walk to the Elbe, where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets or walks on the dike. Netto, Rossmann, pharmacy, bakery are all within walking distance. Nice gift shop right in the house.
