Situated in the hills, on the outskirts of a little village, you'll find Casa Hortênsia which is preferable for plant-based guests. With a beautiful view over the mountains, it is the ideal location to enjoy the many river beaches, hiking, cycling and other activities which can be arranged. Your host is a vegan pastry and professional chef and loves to spoil you if you wish to have meals prepared.

House rebuilt in shale and wood, located in a typical village in the interior of Portugal, decorated with utensils and tools from other times, set in a small farm, where there is a vegetable garden with agricultural products of the season, in the middle of Nature and bathed by two streams, several river beaches nearby, one of them in the village, where you can hear the owl's song at dusk while observing the starry sky on warm summer nights, thus was born the Casinha das Estrelas 💫

This "Palheiro" is nestled between mountains and a small stream in a place called "Pracana Cimeira." The tranquility and landscapes invite you to rest. Just a few kilometers away are several river beaches, small villages where local cuisine abounds, as well as a number of tourist attractions. House of Schist in the center of Portugal

Three schist houses being restored at the village of Cunqueiros, in the municipality of Proença-a-Nova, form the Casas da Encosta project. Here it’s possible to relive the life history and culture of the region’s people in the comfort of a typical Portuguese village. According to the owner, Nuno Caldeira, the houses are being restored following the local construction tradition where schist, clay and wood are featured. One of them, Casa da Lagariça, has already opened.
