It is located in Garofolo, a small village in the municipality of Canaro in the province of Rovigo, 15 minutes from Ferrara and 15 minutes from Rovigo, next to the SS16 road. This is where the painter Benvenuto Tisi (1481-1559) was born. On site you can find the museum in his birthplace. The village is flanking the Po River, which is why a cycling and pedestrian path has been built for lovers of nature and fishing.

Home on the blue lagoon

Particolarissima casa su tre piani il cui giardino, esposto al tramonto, scende direttamente in laguna con tre gradini a volte sommersi, a volte no. E' piacevolissimo nuotare nelle acque blu verdastre e poi asciugarsi al sole nel piccolo prato da sempre casa di una pianta di salvia ormai padrona dei luoghi. Una tenda bianca protegge dal sole estivo dell'ovest e crea uno spazio perfetto per colazioni, pranzi e cene in questa cornice di acqua e cielo senza tempo e dal profumo salmastro.
