We really recommend this apartment. It is ideally located as a base to visit the lakes. You can easily navigate. The apartment is very large, modern, safe and comfortable, in a lively location, with a view on the lake. It is ideal off-season, as even in February, the location is lively. It could probably be a bit too lively during the high season with many bars and restaurant under the windows. If you enjoy bars and restaurant, shops then it is your place.

We were happy travelers - we booked the place spontaneously on the way home and Attilio not only accepted but made our check in very convenient! Upon arrival the charms of a well refurbished historic building meeting all modern requirements got us and we stayed another two nights, where we and our two dogs received an upgraded room and a very friendly care & treatment. This house is worth a visit!

Our family had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The property is beyond beautiful and Silvia goes above and beyond to accommodate her guests. She gave us great recommendations and even called to make dinner reservations so I didn’t have to. My boys loved her fresh orange juice every morning. We will definitely have to make another trip back.

Airbnb has the best location to the lake, is large, has 3 balconies and private parking. On the doorstep is a popular lake promenade with 3 restaurants and cafes that are well attended in the evening. Coop and Tigros supermarket plus charging station for plug-in hybrid cars (Visa credit card) are within walking distance. From Ponte Tresa CH train station (800m walk) you can take the S60 for 7.80 CHF every 15 minutes to Lugano. It is not better to reach Lugano (daily long commuter traffic jam). Lugano is sophisticated and classy, has great Mediterranean climate in a magnificent lake and mountain backdrop. A boat tour is recommended (40CHF - 1.5 hours). A free parking space with public jetty for a jump into Lake Lugano (28° in Aug) is available in Albogasio, right behind the border in Italy. The best view of Lake Lugano and the surrounding Alps can be reached from the "Balcone d'Italia", with navigation via alpine road from Maroggio - by car/motorcycle quite challenging. - Everything very nice!

We discovered this place on our drive back through France and were so pleased! It’s a beautiful apartment that was spotlessly clean. Had a delicious pizza from a place just down the road that was recommended by the hosts. Very handy to have secured parking. Nice surprise to find drinks and a few snack in the fridge that we could buy.
