Dear guests, we are Massimo and Roberta, we recently bought this farmhouse dating back to the 1800s, surrounded by chestnut trees, near the village of Pruno. If you want to immerse yourself in nature, this is the place for you, you will find silence and tranquility. You will arrive by car in this peaceful oasis, welcomed by the large terrace where you will enjoy the sun all day, and end up admiring the sunset. Upon entering, the living room with winter fireplace is very intimate for reading a book.

Once a 19th-century horse stable, this Tuscan home was discovered by my mother : a Dutch artist and traveller, she moved here in search of beauty, nature and light. She stayed for twenty years. My brother and my daughter grew up running barefoot on these ancient terracotta floors. Casa nel bosco is a small, cute cottage in a chestnut grove on a mule track connecting the villages of Chiozza and Castiglione di Garfagnana. The closest parking space is 300 metres from the house. Ideal for up to three people, complete with kitchen bathroom and two bedrooms, the cottage is ideal for those wishing to escape the hussle and bustle of city life. Casa nel bosco is located next to a chestnut flour farm and small campsite, you are welcome to visit and taste our chestnut pancakes.
