Wir haben unsere Zeit in dem Haus sehr genossen. Wir konnten viele Tiere beobachten und haben nachts dem Dschungel gelauscht. Von unserer Terasse aus haben wir unter anderem Spinnenaffen, Kolibris, Tukane und Agutis gesehen. Nancy ist eine sehr aufmerksame und hilfsbereit Gastgeberin.

We loved staying again! The location is perfect for us - both on the beautiful beach, and near the point. The house is set up just right to enjoy with friends with large gathering spaces, and still have some space of your own. We appreciate the care taken before arrival - the house is spotless, and has a homey feel with coffee and staples to get you started. Thank you for another terrific extended stay! This was an extraordinary experience; one of our favorite spaces and trips that we have ever had. The nature is unbeatable. Monkeys and macaws are your close neighbors. The jungle is home, and the energy it provides is nurturing and deeply spiritual. The layout of the house is spacious and open. The beach is private and a beautiful 5 minute walk. Michael is a very responsive host. If you're looking for a peaceful oasis in the heart of Osa, don't miss booking Casa Sombrero.

Lapalandia was wonderful!! Just wish we had stayed more nights. It has a huge upstairs balcony with comfy seating and a large outdoor seating area with hammocks looking out over a lush tropical garden, and all things you need in the kitchen, bathroom, and living areas. Two things to be aware of are that the sleeping area is up a spiral staircase and all three beds are in the same room. So if you have to go to the bathroom at night you have to walk downstairs to the bathroom. Totally fine for us, but just in case you don't notice that in the photos! It was great being able to walk down a short path directly to Matapalo beach & King Louis Waterfall. It was also a short walk or drive to Backwash and Pan dulce. We enjoyed some excellent meals at Martina's, Encanta La Vida, Lapa Rios, and Bosque Del Cabo nearby. Highly recommend the hike up to the waterfall from the bridge as well. The host Rodrigo was very welcoming, incredibly helpful, and went above and beyond.

This is an incredible place to escape to. The beach it sits on is mythically beautiful and Osa provides the best animal watching experiences in the country (or world). The house has everything we needed and most importantly, a very helpful and friendly host. We will be back!

Guiselle was extremely kind to take my last minute one night reservation and to let me check in early. The place is bright and comfortable. I didn’t use any of the small kitchen appliances (coffee maker, rice cooker, panini heater…) The fridge was clean and in good working order, as were the 3 fans. Guiselle was welcoming and efficient, and her place is well suited to anyone wanting to spend a few days in Puerto Jiménez. Thank you Guiselle!

This place is AMAZING !!! me and my five friends just stayed there and we had the most fun !! Aside from the cuties puppies that live there and the 30 second walk to the beach , the host+family, Collin is so friendly and gave us great advice on food and fun while in pavones. We will definitely be coming back and making our trip longer to really relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Very very sad we had to leave this place !

This was an amazing stay!! The house had the most amazing views, tons of space, great kitchen. We felt right at home. The area is gorgeous. It really feels like one of the last undeveloped places on earth. Dirt roads and lots of nature right at the front door! We had a pair of toucans and a pair of Scarlet Mccaws keeping us company. The moneys stopped by to pick bananas, and we had an iguana keeping un company at the pool. It is a really special place! The bedrooms were super comfortable and very well cooled so we slept great. All the recommendations for excursions (deep sea fishing, nature hikes, horseback riding etc.) were all amazing! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Casa Lapas fue un lugar increíble. La casa muy aseada, cerca del mar, muy completa, fácil acceso y muy segura por si andas con 🐶. Nos vamos muy felices con la casa y la amabilidad de Alexander, incluso nos dejaron un detalle de bienvenida, nos vamos muy agradecidos y felices, esperamos volver.

Peter’s cabin is off grid, surrounded by nature and a two minute walk to the ocean. The location is remote (40 mins from Puerto Jimenez, 4x4 bumpy the last 10 mins) and encourages a pace of life slow down! Everyday we loved it more and more! The surrounding area and Peter’s property is truly spectacular and magical. The cabin is very simple, probably best described as rustic. It has wood louvres and screens on all the windows, ants as friends if you leave any morsel of food out. You can hear every piece of nature coming in, the first night we didn’t sleep, but once you adjust to the sounds of howler monkeys and cicadas, it’s so amazing! There is no AC, but he has fans that help circulate air. The front porch was our favourite spot. We ate every meal out at the table and could see birds and monkeys right from the chairs. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises at the ocean. Peter is a wealth of information. He’s super helpful and can do kayak, hiking and surfing tours. This is a special place.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Raquel’s place during our trip to Drake Bay. The upstairs sitting area was ideal to see the lapas flying around the surroundings and the pool helped in cooling off. Bedrooms were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Hope to stay here again.

This casita was the perfect spot to relax and unwind! The pool was awesome, gorgeous views and incredible star gazing (and thunderstorms!). Great recommendations by Rolando for the nearby beach 🏖️ that was splendid and with parrots 🦜 and scarlet macaws. A great spot, highly recommend.

Una maravilla de lugar. La casa muy cómoda, con espacios amplios y con una vista insuperable. Fabio respondió de manera atenta, rápida y siempre con buen consejo. Nos hospedaríamos de nuevo sin dudarlo.

We had an awesome adventure at Casa Roja, it was a beautiful house in an amazing location. We spotted monkeys from the living room most days, we were visited by the Macaws several times during our stay, and the tours of Corcovado & Canos were spectacular. Graciela and staff were extremely friendly, accommodating, and the prepared meals were delicious. It was obvious that our happiness and comfort was their priority. I would highly recommend Casa Roja for a Costa Rican retreat, just be prepared for the heat. Without a steady breeze or airflow via fans, the heat can be brutal for northerners like us.

Rooted in Love is a peaceful sanctuary surrounded by nature. It’s beautiful and peaceful. It has a natural outdoor kitchen area with all the basics. We enjoyed sitting outside with our coffee and pineapple that we picked up locally. The air conditioning is a luxurious sleeping experience.

Wir haben die Tage bei Keyla sehr genossen. die Unterkunft ist absolut perfekt für einen Aufenthalt in Puerto Jiménez. Etwas abgelegen der Hauptstraße und fußläufig zu allen wichtigen Orten und Restaurants. Die Waschmaschine in der Unterkunft ist ein Segen, vor allem nach einem Ausflug in den Corcovado NP. Vielen Dank!

We Stayed at Casa Escondida with the family. It was a lovely experience. Right next to the beautiful beach of backwash. The house was beautiful and clean, with 2 big bedrooms each with their own bathrooms. The kitchen was a little small, but it balanced well with having the upper deck to enjoy having food in the outdoors. We saw monkeys, armadillos, toucans and more right next to the house! The manager there, Doña Irma and her husband were super sweet and took really good care of us. There is another house right next to Casa Escondida, Casa Luz, they were doing a yoga retreat there and it was calm and peaceful and we didn't feel at all bothered by being close. There was good natural separation with the landscaping. And yeah... the beach 25 steps away is priceless.

Bei unserem Aufenthalt in dem Airbnb von Kimberly hat alles den Erwartungen an die Unterkunft entsprochen. Die Kommunikation war unkompliziert. In dem Airbnb gab es abends öfters Stromausfälle. Diese waren aber immer nur sehr kurz und haben deshalb nicht gestört. Die Unterkunft ist für einen Aufenthalt zur Besichtigung des Corcovado Nationalparks gut geeignet.

The cabin very sweet and comfortable with amazing attention to detail. We came over Christmas and new years and there were seasonal decorations, even the dish towel was festive. Functional WiFi, air conditioning, parking right next to the place made it very easy to unpack luggage and convenient. Homely and comfortable, felt like luxury camping. Very welcoming hosts.

This was our family’s 5th trip to Pavones . We like to try different places and locations . Giselle’s home was beautiful , spacious and very comfortable. We had a smaller group and it didn’t feel overwhelming as it’s a big place . Outdoor spaces were amazing , and a quick walk to essentially a private beach . (Only saw 1 person over 8 days ) a short walk to La Pina restaurant for a pizza or dinner and only 3-5 minutes from various spots near Pavones point. I will say this was perhaps the most well equipped kitchen and linens we have experienced yet . Oliver the caretaker was quite helpful and his English is fair . Overall a very positive experience.
