Monthly Rentals in Punakaiki

We absolutely loved our stay! The views were stunning, and the bed was incredibly comfy. The bath with a sea view and the hot tub were absolute highlights, such a treat. The hosts were great and super responsive. Would 100% recommend!

This was our last stop on our two week trip around central New Zealand. We stayed in many lovely air bnbs but this one was by far the best! The view of the ocean, the privacy, the spaciousness, the nature, and the hot tub under the stars made this stay our absolute favorite! AND the beach below the home is the most beautiful beach I’ve ever been to! 10/10 highly recommend staying here!

Very nice holiday home which is excellent for friend or family groups. Beautiful views & good facilities and very private. A wee bit of truck noise early mornings from close road. Great pub & restaurant a walkable distance. Clean & comfortable with some games & cards. Lots of walks & biking tracks, kayaking nearby. We went to Barrytown & made knives. Top activity. Definitely would stay again if we are with others.

I’m convinced that this is the best Airbnb in the Southern Hemisphere. My stay at Woodpecker Bay was only short, but I will most definitely be back. The views are unmatched and Dan is so wonderful and helpful. I’ll be telling everyone to stay here!
