Holiday rentals with lake access in Putanges-le-Lac

The house was perfect for three aged cyclists. Spotless well laid out accommodation, even a welcoming bottle of wine & milk. Large garage was great for storing the bikes & the car. The only thing people should be aware of is the steep walk from the centre of Bagnoles. I wouldn't hesitate to return or to recommend the house.

We had a lovely stay at Nathalie's cottage. The house is spacious and tidy, but especially the view did it to him. From the spacious garden you look right at the old city, with towers and city gate, while you hear a babbling stream in the background. From the cottage you can walk 5 minutes to the city and to the castle. So as far as we are concerned, it's well worth it!

Nicola is very welcoming, friendly and available. The estate is pretty, quiet, soothing and the accommodation is very original, well decorated, in a few words very nice. I would recommend this unusual experience.

A house full of charm, convenient and very well-located. A magical garden. Lots of things to do in and around the house. You should know that it is a rustic accommodation, so with its beams (some are a little low, beware of the big ones!), its Chinese decorations, its large fireplace, its cracking stairs... we love or we hate, but it's for me what looks like the house of happiness, or families with or without children can have fun and find themselves without a headache. The hosts are welcoming and kind, valuable advice. Anyway, we'll be back!

What a haven of peace and tranquility, such a beautiful little cottage. The sound of the birds was refreshing and the wildlife around the ponds was a pleasure to see. The way this cottage has been thoughtfully constructed with the environment in mind was fantastic to witness. The kitchen was equipped with everything the we needed and we lucked in on Conde market day (Thursday). The surrounding roads were quiet and great to cycle on. We will return.

A huge thank you to Flora for this great place! I had a pleasant stay during my training in Évrecy, and this place located in Val d 'Arry was a real gem. Nestled in the countryside, it offers a peaceful and relaxing setting, ideal for relaxing after a busy day. The accommodation was impeccably clean, very well-equipped and thoughtfully furnished, which allowed me to feel at home as soon as I arrived. Everything is thought out for guests' comfort. A big thank you also to Flora and her spouse for their warm welcome and availability. Their kindness really added an even more enjoyable touch to my stay. I would recommend this place without hesitation and would be happy to come back if the opportunity arises!

We had a great and relaxing stay in the Japanese Pavilion of the Domaine de La Boderie. Congratulations to the people who designed and built this pavilion. It is located in a peaceful retreat where you will only see and hear nature around you. The wooden deck on stilts overlooks a pond, which is very nice. We were able to walk around the estate where we saw a deer and saw a wild boar (in addition to donkeys, pigs and horse). The host is very kind and welcoming (and his donkeys will also say hello when you arrive). She takes the time to tell the story of the pavilion and advise on activities to do nearby. We booked a Japanese fondue and breakfast, it was really perfect. A great experience that needs to be experienced. Finally, we were able to take walks with our electric bikes to discover the surroundings: La Roche d 'Oëtre, Pont-d' Ouilly and Falaise with its Castle. Thank you for everything 🙏

Accommodation located in the city center with a parking space. Quiet, extremely clean accommodation with many amenities in the kitchen perfectly suited for a stay of a WE or more. Excellent bedding. Available and responsive host giving wise advice to facilitate the stay. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

Thank you very much to Veronique and Rémy for their very nice welcome in their beautiful Normandy property!! The environment of the house and surroundings is beautiful. The house is charming and very well-equipped. It is also well placed for tours of the area. It's hard to find better hosts, who welcome you and spontaneously invite you to an aperitif at sunset! We don't want to leave at the end of the stay.

What a beautiful place in beautiful surroundings. We had such a wonderful time staying here. Edward, our host, was very welcoming of us and our four dogs. The gite was perfect, had everything we needed and was clean. The bed was comfortable, the shower was powerful, we could cook, BBQ, eat indoors or enjoy eating outdoors. Edward had even provided some wine, cheese, butter, milk, bread, jam, juice, shower gel, shampoo etc. in fact everything to get us started and more. There were plenty of good quality towels to use too and we used the sofa bed in the living area for one night for a family member and the sheets were all provided and it was comfortable. The grounds are amazing and it is so peaceful. The perfect place to relax and unwind. I cannot recommend this place enough and if Edward will host us again then we will be back!

Comfortable accommodation with the ground floor with kitchen, living room and dining area. 2 comfortable bedrooms (but we were warm the first 2 nights since the outside temperature was 30°). For the two bathrooms, bathtub or shower, we are used to showerheads, but there is not. Comfortable accommodation. Neil was very responsive to a small key issue upon arrival. La Ferrière aux Etangs may seem remote, but we visited Lisieux on the road for our arrival, Fougères the next day then the spa of Bagnoles de l 'Orne, the Château de Falaise and its medieval festivals on Sundays before returning by the coast and Dives sur Mer and Houlgate. Very satisfied.

A wonderful house in magnificent surroundings. Will was a great host, very proactive, responsive and has thought of everything. The house was spotless, comfortable and a super base for trips throughout Normandy. The downstairs suite and living areas in particular are very thoughtfully laid out for anyone with mobility issues, which we really appreciated, and the kitchen is heavily equipped with pots & pans and multiple coffee-making methods. The local village with a decent bakery is walkable too. We had a lovely trip, really enjoyed the beautiful estate, and would very happily go back.

We stayed in cottage for one week. The cottage was very complete and very clean. With a private garden at the edge of the forest. We enjoyed it!
