A lovely cottage on the shore of Lake Päijänne offers peace and quiet in nature and comfort for up to 8 people. The premises consist of the main building, a new barn building and a lakeside sauna. Toilet and running water are available in the main building. The renovated wooden sauna and gently sloping beach are suitable for families. A barbecue, a masonry oven, an electric smoker, a rowing boat and fishing gear complete the facilities. The main cottage, built in the 1960s, has been cold in winter, so the traditional cottage scent and atmosphere are part of the experience.

The beach is right at your fingertips from the cottage's yard and offers opportunities for swimming, fishing, and rowing. At a peaceful cottage, our guests have had their best nights sleep. The cottage has all the comforts and good equipment. The cottage is heated by an air heat pump and a baking oven. The sauna has a wood-burning stove. Indoor toilet and shower, as well as dishwashers and laundry machines.

Come and spend sunny spring days in Sysmä! A secluded old farm with modern amenities! The nearest neighbor is 600 m away. Two bedrooms and sleeping arrangements for 6+1. The barn building has a modern sauna with two showers and an Aito stove. There is a hot tub on the terrace (not in use when the ground or lake is frozen). Inside, there is a separate toilet and shower. The kitchen has an oven, microwave, dishwasher, stove and fridge-freezer. Washing machine in the basement. 600 m to the beach, where there is a swimming area and a rowboat.

The cottage is in a quiet location, but still close to the activities and entertainment on offer in Himos. The nearest downhill ski slopes are about 3 km away, and the ski resort is about 6 km away. At weekends, you can visit Himos Arena to listen to artists and enjoy the great atmosphere. In the summer, there is a swimming spot about 300 metres away, so it’s easy to go for a morning swim. There’s plenty to do all year round!

Plus, the beach sauna can be booked separately. Himos resort is 20 minute drive. Bookings available for 1-4 guests. Free parking is on site, as well as a boat berth.

The lowest level has a bedroom, and sauna facilities. The backyard has a hot tub (separate reservation). The shore area includes a dock and a BBQ shelter.

The villa includes a 65" Smart TV and 300 M wifi (remote working possible). The nearest shops are a 20-minute drive away, with Helsinki 90 minutes away by car. The nearest bus stop is 4 km away.

A typical Finnish cottage (55.8 sq.m) was built in 1972 and completely renovated in 2014, preserving the authentic atmosphere. The nearest shop or gas station is 25 kilometers away. We live behind the forest 200 meters from the cottage all year round. The location of the cottage is unique in that, on the one hand, you feel complete freedom and privacy, on the other hand, we are always around and ready to help and communicate if you wish. Our plot and garden are always open to our guests.

A lovely cabin on the shore of Kalkkistenkoski. On the terace you can grill, eat, enjoy the evening sun, lounge on the deck chairs or see the local bird populations. The cabin also has a sauna, hot tub and an indoor fireplace. The cabins kitchen has the essentials for cooking and the barbeque and outdoor fireplace can also be used for cooking. The kitchen and sauna have warm water and drinking water will be delivered to the cabin. The cabin has an outdoor composting toilet.
